As much as cornes grinds my gears doch even said in his rebuttal “ the group has to learn to win together”. If you need to learn something that means you don’t know how to do it...that’s what Cornes is hinting at and he’s correct... we don’t remember how to win. It’s frustrating for sure and we just need one or two in the next few weeks to get us going.

Rule number 1: never, ever, ever assume that Kane Cornes is saying something that is in any way or shape correct.
Rule number 2: whenever Cornes says something that makes you sit up and listen, refer to rule 1.

If he says something that is accurate, it's to deride or troll a fanbase. He's absolute slime, and that we share a species and a country is something that makes me nearly eternally ashamed.

Apology accepted but I don't like to rubbish individuals unless there's something clearly done in an insincere and manipulative fashion.

Bolton is trying his best and doing all he can as a rookie coach. He's a rookie. Why on earth would one want to 'hate' on him?
If there's an issue in the end it will by way of appointment, but even that's been done in the right manner.

Re development; Thrilled with the way many of the newbies have come along and especially thrilled to have Weitering, SPS and Cuningham playing the way we all knew they can. Keep players on the park and the development of the whole, will immediately look better.

Re. Rookie recruitment: Very, very ordinary with what we've done to date in the past 4 years. Maybe even worse than ordinary.

Re. Cornes: Feasts in being seen to be the bad boy. It's a real ordinary and somewhat sad schtick.
You watch what happens from here. When that's exhausted he'll become the PC selling merchant, just to garner support and......love. He's ordinary
 
Kane Cornes is one of the biggest numpties going around however he is right about us needing to learn how to win. All 3 games were up for grabs and we folded like a deck of cards each time. Not to mention last year...

I also heard the BS coming out of the SEN boys this morning about Walsh having it easy in the midfield padding his stats where someone like Rozee has a more difficult position/role. It makes me sick how much crap these so called experts talk and how much influence they have. Another Rising star robbery in the making just like Cripps.

Paddy is a good representation of where we're at as a team atm.. we're an "almost" team, as much as paddy is an "almost" game breaker.. does 75% of good and hard work but lacks polish, poise and concentration to execute and / or finish. as a top pick: 1) he simply has to nail that goal 20m out, no pressure 2) he can't drop a simple mark inside 50, again with no pressure 3) he has, in more than numerous occasions, broken away from a stoppage and proceeded to shank the kick, 4) he cannot miss 20m chip kicks with no pressure..

part of this suggests it's mental and I hope that's all it is - i.e. he needs to slow down his own head so he can properly execute a skill.. he really needs to clean up his kicking either way.

Dow also needs to show his burst of acceleration when chasing someone down. A bit one way at the moment.
 
Dow just isn't fit enough. He's a 2nd year player who's had an interrupted pre-season.
His defensive running is really poor, and his kicking was shocking on the weekend. In an ideal world, we'd be able to cover him and get him a good training block before coming into the team, but currently, despite his fitness (which I think is effecting the quality of his disposals), he's still in our best team.

Don't worry though, he's going to be a gun.
