Nah I’m sure. While watching love he pulled out of contests and handball when he was under pressure as he looked scared to take possession. I’ll watch the replay to confirm. I couldn’t care less how many scoring plays he was involved in. He looked soft in the last quarter.
Yes, ignore the good stuff. Suits the agenda.

Of course it is, finishing positions this year quantify the value of the deal. And yes I've heard the lines about where we rated him, we were going to trade it anyway etc.

We talking draft pick points? Again, has nothing to do with it

What you have to consider is how Stocker would have rated against the draftees this year

It doesnt work like that now and never did. The value of the deal is Stocker......Period.
Every player in every trade and draft is a risk and doesnt have to be quantified or justified.

I don’t have an agenda. Read my first post on this discussion. I said he had some great moments. I started by defending a post about Murphy. Move on. He’s pulling out of the tough stuff. Most on here would agree.
So I have to bow to your claim of the majority view. You’re talking rubbish. Now I’m happy to move on.

Yes, and we now the Carlton views on his value. I also consider the industry valuation as important.

Don’t bother Arr0w. If people really believe we need to win games this year to justify the Stocker trade they are in la la land

If you swap first rounders the value of the deal is tied to finishing positions.

Industry value without considering supply and demand is flawed

No one will know the "win/loss" of this trade for at least 4 years. Stocker + player x versus player y

Anything else is just a p1ssing contest

We rolled the dice, if we finish bottom 2 we likely get unders. Draft picks come and go every year, we don't need to win every trade.

No draftee by the name of unders

Seriously though, this is like one of those draft redo threads, where everyone thinks in the now

Ratings stabilize after 4 -5 years

Plus there is a lot to play out and we wanted Stocker and got a young player a year earlier. So many factors yet we have to win to “justify” the deal? Amazing
The geniuses of the sos trades is that he offers a win to get what he wants great deal maker an offer you can’t refuse but he still wins

We're going to get spanked the players won't improve ball movement overnight. If the players really want Bolton to continue coaching they will win it for him in a scrappy affair this is what I am predicting - otherwise my fears are warranted in they have been indoctrinated incorrectly and need new ideas albeit perhaps 12 months late.

Newman, Murphy and Casboult need to deliver more. Last week both Newman and Murph had 20+ disposals yet their efficiency was 55% and 59% respectively. Cas had 12 disposals at 58%.

Yes there were worse players but these guys are meant to be seniors and leading the way.

Suns have been playing well so far and usually they start the season well too. They're coming off a couple of close wins and their only loss was by a point.

So despite losing May and Lynch, they are showing good signs. It's about time we step up now.
