I am quoting your post because its there, not singling you out.

To all the agitators that are actually real Carlton supporters. Try supporting your club. See how that goes. Instead of rubbishng every aspect just because you can.
Nobody is a Bolton defender the way you like to frame it. They support the clubs personnel. They support the decisions made.

This is how it works.

You barrack for your team regardless in word and action, not just when they do what you wish.
You barrack for your team and when things arent right you trust in the club to deal with it. No matter how long it takes.

You left out the bit that everyone has a right to an opinion....positive or negative, and shouldn't be judged on said opinion.

I've been told that there has been a bit of a disconnect between the assistants and BB with regards to gameplan, ( not all out communication breakdown, just a bit of frustration that alternate views weren't taken into account) hence one of the reasons Walls was bought in. To much "Hawthorn centric gamestyle" when it was believed by the assistants that it didn't really suit our list make up. Apparently a stubborn little critter is BB.

Source: current assistants brother in law

Wouldn't make for a surprise at all.
Of course frustration would come about for a team not winning.

All this 'We are as one' stuff just doesn't make sense and isn't how people work.
There has to be runs on the board and everyone will shut up and get on with things. Until then......

I do support my club, and I’m willing to bet every other supporter that feels like me supports the club just as emphatically as I do.

The difference between posters like us and posters like you, is we don’t take accept mediocrity and losses because we are told to by the current people in charge and by posters like you.

If your kind of support was the metric for which a supporter should adhere to (just trust that the club and those in charge and deal with it), then we would still have the old administration in charge of the club and MM as coach still.

Being a true supporter isn’t continuing to close your eyes and defend Bolton as coach just because he is coach, that’s what a cult does. So don’t tell me what barracking for my club means :)

Your wrong. I havent taken a stance except the only one that is appropriate. Talk till the cows come home if you must. It wont change anything.
I have said I back the club. Bolton is the club at this time. When he isn't then I will support the next person.

Strange that sentiment only revolves around the win/loss

When i think of Elliott and the Wayne Hughes / Kernahan eras, I think there is an argument for not staying silent.

Having said that, i'm with Bolton and SoS 100%. I think it is mostly uncontrollable events keeping us down right now.

Which part of that is strange in a game (every game) measured by win/loss?

We have a lot of football people around at the club and people talk.....and people want to win to embellish their CV's....and the club wants memberships....and the players must be sick of being losers.

It's not a difficult concept to grasp. Losing isn't fun and sets up issues that may not be there if for winning games
How did Bolton and Liddle look to you post match?

Is that right. How about the responsibily and obligation not to talk crap.
Reactive spleen venting is for children in my opinion.
You call it crap, others disagree.... so what
I fluctuate between positive and negative sentiment on a daily basis ( in 5 min blocks when watching us play)
Let people vent, let them celebrate, who cares either way.

If everyone followed your logic of support, we’d still have the old administration pulling all the strings at the club, but good for you :)

First time I noticed Cripps looking pissed off too. Winning is important.

I don't know about that, it goes back to that old cliche that things aren't as bad as they seem yet not as good as they should be. Incorrect decisions have been made in a number of departments, you can be sure of that. You can't boil everything down to past sins and bad circumstances.

Your wrong again. Because nothing we say changes anything at all. So be it.....Like I said I wasn't singling you out....:)

I appreciate that you weren’t singling me out, but just like you find the criticism of Bolton or the losses ‘repetitive’, supporters like me find the constant attempts to ridicule our legitimate concerns by alway repeating ‘we are young, win/loss doesnt matter, it will turn one day’ etc etc, just as repetitive.

I’m 42 years old, been following Carlton since age 6, and I’ve never ever seen in any era or any team concerns about win/loss explained away as meaningless, even during club rebuilds.

It amazes me that that argument is so prevalent now amongst some Carlton supporters, I guess that’s the mindset that 20 years of languishing at the bottom of the ladder results in

You have a right to an opinion:heavycheck: Your opinions on a forum are all that people on here can be judged by, this is why it's important to think before you type

People get pissed off when they lose. People start blaming others when losses mount.
It's really not hard to understand, whether we like that or not and assistant coaches' careers can be shot down quickly if a club isn't performing, as can recruiters and List Managers. Everyone feels the heat.

What all that ultimately amounts to, we don't know as fact but to think that it's all smiles and happiness for sitting on the bottom of the ladder again.
Well it can't be, can it? I for one, dislike the insincere views portrayed here at times of a club patting each other on the back given what we've shown to date.

it's a completely different story discussing the future, but a club can hurt in the now and it should be hurting.

Setters getting two weeks is a joke and another example of the commentators(LOOKING AT YOU ROOS YOU PIECE OF GARBAGE) driving the agenda.

HUUURRRR!!! Brisbane are much better than us! We're shit! We're the most awful club to ever play the game!!! RAAWR! SAKC THE COACH! TRADE CRIPPS! WE"LL NEVER WIN AGAAAAAIIIIN!!!! WAAAAH!

Oh wait - Brisbane started last season 0-8.
Margins? 25, 26, 5, 93, 5, 34, 7, 14.
Then after a good win in round 9, they went on to lose their next 4 by 18, 54, 22 and 27.
12 months later they're 3-1 with a percentage of 109.8, and sitting pretty in the top 4 (early days).

Getting a bit over this forum of late. An arseload of "fans" who only rock up on the weekend to bitch and moan about the scoreboard result and how "2nd year player XXXXX XXX cost us the game, trade him!". Presuming these "fans" trundle off back to their usual haunt on Facebook from Monday to Friday, because they certainly don't stick around to participate in anything remotely close to rational, reasoned discussion once the emotion has subsided.

Take a look at yourselves. Morons.
Well said BB getting so tired of it, no rational thought just hyperbole and bluster with no substance, it’s more disconcerting than the team losing.

Everyone that works within or supports the club wants to win, but it is not how you measure progress

Because it is a competitive sport. All that matters is wins and losses, or to put it another way - Premierships.

This isn't under 8s where everyone gets a trophy!

Given you have only just signed up and every post has a negative tinge, perhaps show some balance to be taken seriously
