That's very good.
However for the benefit of good taste and political correctness, I will not be commenting any further in this thread.
Perhaps the club provide the same to those who witnessed some of his performances?
Oops, I'm out.

Pretty ordinary, brother.

Mayne and Ballas are two of those players that you can only appreciate watching the game live rather than on tv. Massive work ethic and it is good to hear he says nice things about our player support.

Kind words from Crozier ahead of tomorrow's game as well. Referring to Freo as a fantastic footy club. Really hope nobody boos him. Despite the media BS it is pretty clear our footy club has a good culture for players.
Crozier's dad came into work and said the same thing.

Even, prompt him that his son should have played off back but his dad still praised the club.

Always played his guts out. Knew he had too much of an aerobic capacity to be just playing as a forward. Buckley was brilliant into moving as a defensive type winger. Runs all day. 14 tackles in a GF. Couldn’t complain about him not giving his 100% to the occasion.

He’s always been honest and a huge ambassador off the field with his Starlight Foundstion work.

I hope noone would boo him!!...We arent really the booing type.
Was sad to see him go, was one of my favourites :(

The way Mayne was treated by Collingwood was terrible, Buckley really showed himself as a bit of a self-preserving prick with those press conferences. Yeah his first few games were bad and you don't want a mature aged recruit in the reserves, but to come out and say it was a mistake and how nobody really wanted him and it just happened was insane. I have no idea how the media didn't eat Buckley for that.

If you were at work in a warehouse and your boss told other staff it was a mistake you got hired, it would be bullying.

If you work selling jeans and your manager is telling customers that, sorry he's taking too long to get those selvidges in a 36 from out the back, we shouldn't have hired him, who knows how he got the job... you'd have every right to tell them all to **** off and storm out.

Hugely offensive to hang someone out publicly. It's a bit like the UK tabloids and the shit they'll write over soccer players. Telling humans they're national disgraces for getting a red card or butchering crosses. I think the whole mental health angle is overblown in the AFL, and I think players need to accept they could be booed or told 'u r dikhead shit kent' on instagram if they're going to be public figures on $10,000 a week. But that shit was ****in nasty man. How can you rock up to work when your employers basically say no one wants you there?

I pictured when they were thinking about acquiring Mayne, Eddie jumped in and mistook him for Mundy and thought he was getting him for a steal at 500k.

But it just goes to show the mental strength Mayne has for how he turned it around and became an asset at Collingwood.

We do our fair share of booing. Just not as loud as the mob up the road.

Mayne was awesome for us, certainly with his pressure, and he really stepped up when Pav was out of the team in 2013 providing a contest and kicking accurately. I'm glad he's done well at Collingwood - hopefully he gets back soon for them.

I wish we get a full review undertaking by either a leading Soccer or NFL sports fitness/medical expert.

A few years ago, I fell down the rabbit hole of comparing training methods between different professional sports. I forget exactly what I looked at, but AFL training was much much more professional, science-based and progressive than either soccer or NFL (both of which were still training more or less the way they had always trained). It wasn't what I expected.

Not sure a review from either would add a lot of value - but things may well have changed!!

Somebody needs to look at our rehab.

Scully gets back on the park in one pre-season while Bennell is still in rehab.

If only Neale was more respectful. I still wonder if the media have constructed his negativity towards Freo.
