As per the Bluemour File OP, this is a thread for discussing Carlton related rumours.
http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/bluemour-file.1085141/

Rumour posters should post their rumours in both threads for those that like just to read rumours and for those that like to have get lost in their rumour files.

Remember ... #Bluemour

According to the Matthew Pavlich scale, which uses Chris Judd as its unit of measurement, what is the realistic probability we land Clayton Oliver?

Somewhere between Coniglio and Okeefe.

Maybe you need to take a break for an hour or so, get your thoughts together and return. This obsession with Mitch is bordering on the unhealthy.
Anything that ails the club is Mitch's fault, we get it, no need to say it again and again and......

Say anything bad about Plowman on here and the mob descends and you're branded a "hater".

Criticise McGovern and it's stacks on!

Gotta love good old fashioned group think.

Yeah I'd rather a 23yo with dodgy shoulders who butchers the ball (I'm serious about that).

You cant be talking about Clayton Oliver.

It’s not case for f he is getting the same amount each year it’s back-ended.

They would have offered him X over the time period and said, Adam due to the salary cap we will have lower payments now then higher at the end.

He has been underpaid for a couple off seasons (in terms of the average over his contract), a fixed figure he would have planned his life on, with a limited time to earn money due to the nature of this sport. Now when he is about to get the money he is owed his employer is attempting to weasel out of it.

If it was you in your job, where you where contracted to get more money later On, would you turn around and go to your boss, no worries mate, I’ve been loyal taken less, don’t bother giving me what I’m owed
true and as was highlighted by another it will lead to clubs abusing the system.

Nothing to do with group think at all, you make ridiculous statements and people will disagree with you. You have a right to state your opinions obviously, others have a right to disagree. When you post the same thing over and over again people are going to get annoyed.

Treloar situation looks to be blowing up...really poor by Collingwood to offer him an extension which goes for another 5 years which would have made Treloar feel valued and an important player, only to immediately try to offload him and push him out the door. Their salary cap squeeze issue is their own doing...contracts to Wells/Mayne/Beams have been shockers, Grundy's even is a little too much $$$ and years, and clearly they shouldn't have extended Treloar's contract in the first place.

Really poor list management.

Surely if Collingwood are pushing him out and this becomes a messy breakup, they'll have ZERO bargaining power and would have to accept even a late first rounder for him...or risk having a $900k a year player over 5 years on their list who knows the club doesn't want him and is jaded.

Treloar for $700k (Collingwood paying $200k) and a late first? I'd have a serious look at that.

Could split pick 7 and something for 2 x late 1sts, and swap one for Saad and the other for Treloar...that would be amazing value.

A likelihood of one Chris Judd, which is equivalent to zero Matthew Pavliches in the old scale.

Pretty sure Cox’s trigger for next season is worth 550k. Wells, Mayne, Beams and Greenwood have set them back. Overs for Grundy though I don’t mind that decision. JDG will be on a fair whack as will Moore.

They have the potential to blow up big time. The other 17 clubs shouldn’t be helping them one iota. 5 would be a poor move by GC IMO.

Gee, you're such an independent thinker, t-h.

Nobody suggested a suspension though, more a self imposed time out for the poster's own good. TBH, I've never seen anything as relentless as that on this board before.
The issue was everyone else responding like the posts deserved a response. There's a reason I've had him on ignore for a couple of years.

Essendon's requirement to get moving on trades will see them be keen to strike a deal with Carlton on Adam Saad, while Orazio Fantasia has also settled on Port Adelaide as his preferred new home. - Callum Twomey
Seriously, if Saad is the only player we are going to get, this trade period..
Why don't we wait until the last 5 minute of trade week to do the deal?

Why would we help Essendon to screw us out of Pick 7?

No.

IMO Fish, SPS and Willo are all keepers.

I agree. This is why I'm leaning to thinking that Oliver won't make to CFC because Melb will want quality in return and we may not want to give it up.

Dow is the one I am not sure about. My heart says be patient because he will be a gun but my head says the kid might be a bust and Oliver is only a few years older.
