I would like to think I am one of the most optimistic crows people around but the data still points away from the crows doing much more than last year in this forthcoming year. Its more the year after where I reckon we'll jump up.
13 games at AO, 13 games against teams that finished 10-18 last year, added Rankine, a fit Rachele, young players got another 15-20 games experience?

I'd want us to be doing much more than last year, or it's a (Nicks) fail!

Agree. SANFL Premiership for sure
Smurph and Ned going wild in the forward line... Hately Crouch and Taylor on the ball

Hamill and Sholl on the wings.

Yes this has been the plan all along [emoji1787]
Crouch 'n Taylor, Hately Dragon would make a good movie

He will always do both

I don’t get why people can’t see that or are worried by it
I agree that he can do both, but the problem being if he is not our lead ruck, then we still need someone in the side who can play that role, it will most likely be ROB. As long as ROB is in the side, TT will only ever be a part time ruck. ROB can't play anywhere else other than 1st ruck.

I would love us to go with the TT/EH combo which would give us much more flexibility. TT rucks 60% of the time and then rotates forward, EH plays 60% forward then rotates into the ruck. Neither are probably ready for this at this stage, but I think this is where we should be aiming. Hopefully we see this setup for a couple of games this year to see how it goes.

Ideally we want to have the flexibility to move TT around to where we need him, either in the ruck, or up forward. We don't have that flexibility if ROB is playing, we do though if he is partnering with EH.

Still remember Troy Bond coming to my s**t house primary school in 96 when I was in year 7. Been doing it a while yeah.
We had Mcleod come out to my school not long after he kicked that match winning goal against the Hawks when he first burst on to the scene. Was like having a rock star at the school!

TBF ....Hartigan had a great physique ....they maybe built like tree trunks ..we just hope they don't play like tree trunks

That said, he's a good pickup ....worth the gamble
Hartigan was the perfect defender.. was really pretty bloody good one on one..

Until he got the ball in his hands that is.. then he’d hesitate, second guess himself, stutter, panic and end up making a shit decision that would result in turnover and the ball sailing back over his head towards the oppositions goals.

Difficult player as a supporter to watch was old hartigan.. heart in your mouth stuff when he had possession of the pill..

Had McLeod come visit me in hospital in 1999. Helped that my Dad had some contacts. He knew ex port player Christ Natt and Chris was mates with Phil Harper but wow I went from a very depressed kid to an excited one very quickly. It made a huge difference to my recovery seeing McLeod visit. The amount of work these players do with sick children is amazing.

I don't think he was amazing at 1v1

It's a shame Tariek hasn't been able to develop his mental application / consistency becomes the Charlie Cameron type abilities are there.
yep, he has the tools but he's running out of time I think.

Might be a player that needs a couple of years in the SANFL for the Roosters to get the hunger for another shot at AFL...can't see him being with us next year unless he makes big strides this season.

The Crows are in Waikerie tonight and will be splitting up to visit schools across the Riverland tomorrow.

He will need a big run of form where he kicks multiple goals to make selectors think about giving him a game now.
