13 will go elsewhere because it’s being held for this trade. 23 is tied up with Rioli. 29 is available if this falls over. That’s not true

Yes..............I'm bored.
McCrae needs ready players.
Window is open for another run for premiership
I'm confusedYeah I get it, but Carlton are supposed to be a top 4 contender and was top 4 premiership candidate last season... and now they have a top 5 pick.
Pies can take a season off, rest Naicos every second game and tank for a top 5 pick if there is a real can't miss stud.
Tanking is unfortunately a strategy, even for teams that don't need it.

Then hopefully Trac demands trade to Pies next off seasonRumour blues gonna offer pick 3 for Petrecca.
I just can’t understand why they’d be so intent on putting their eggs in one basket in such an even draft.
Last time they had two mid first round picks they got Curnow and McKay. Last time they had pick 3 they got Paddy Dow.
They could have obtained Houston for less than they’ve paid for pick 3. It’s a really strange move in my book.
Yea, the upside can be great if they get a Serong type for example. But still also massive downside if it ends up a Will Phillips/Paddy Dow type.Carlton have sold the farm for pick 3. Would want to get the pick right
Deal was done in a Derrimut cafeRumour blues gonna offer pick 3 for Petrecca.
That would be a really wanky and petty move.If the deal falls over then the first move for the new president should be to remove our support for them wearing the PBs in any games.
He’s OOC. If Geelong can’t strike a deal he is. We’d just strike earlier.
Carlton flogs even trying to steal our trade negotiation headquartersDeal was done in a Derrimut cafe
Job title old campaigner!Do one for Cornes.![]()
To what end?Could Richmond get involved in the Houston Trade to make a 4 Way Trade?

Grandson of Collingwood premiership player (1958) and captain (1964-65), Ray Gabelich.Josh gabelich. Reliable journo
Take Haynes out of the Carlton side then too.
Perryman is at no cost besides cap space. There is no outgoing there. He is irrelevant to the cost of our forgone draft capital and departing players.
Pies literally just signed 25 year old and trying for a 28 year old to extend the window. Pies are doing a Geelong and Swans rebuild.... basically top 8 while finding replacements and young gunsWant and need is two different things.
Debateable - we finished 9th and are even older next year.
Also has to be some query in Mitchell and De Goey getting up and going fully.
Backline feels a big defender short.
McStay and Checkers together is a big plus, but again injury has started to bite one or the other.
There’s no doubt our best last year was good enough to be amongst the final four and it’s an even competition, but I think we are actually more likely to stay out of the top 4 then get back into it. Just on looking at it critically. But it’s all a gamble either way.
And about 1/3 of the sizeGrandson of Collingwood premiership player (1958) and captain (1964-65), Ray Gabelich.
Media seems to think it has something to do with the Macrae deal. The Saints just traded 27 for 32 + 45 from Brisbane.
Is this part of a bigger play?
Pick 13 or simply to do with getting a deal for Macrae done?
I think they’ve done ok certainly better than Carlton.I'm confused
On SEN West Coast supporters are spewing on the deal.
Seems Carlton won that trade
