I was pretty filthy about it but I kinda get it. He and Mitch Owens were playing exactly the same role in our team.

I'd like to think we went to him and said that we probably see you in the VFL for the bulk of the season if there's no injuries so by all means look at your options, but I think we just straight cut him which is harsh. And dumb given our pre-season injuries.

I hope he wins a flag with you guys.

I’ve always rated him. Loved him at the saints was such a crafty player. Him being like 7th in line in Collingwoods best forward before the season shows how deep Collingwood is but he’s genuinely been fantastic.

The strange thing is in the middle of the last we narrowed it to 10 points by being aggressive with our ball mvt. Then we made one mistake and went back to being slow.

Effort level is there and could get a few wins against lesser sides but the coaching isn't, espec against a team that rested 4 players and barely got out of 2nd gear. Feels like the beginning of the end for Longmuir.

Best win of the year from the pies, learnt more about our premiership chances from this one than any of the others.
System stands up, not reliant on individuals.
Just need to hope we don’t get injuries to key players at the wrong time.
