The average age of teams will get older because of modern day practices eg. tailored individual training loads and game management, emphasis on rehabilitation and preparation, more focus on the mental health of players.

IMO 34-35 years old is the new 30-31 when most players were put out to pasture.

I'm actually shocked they've got that much experience. That's 60 games on us and 4 years on this weeks team.

I haven't paid much attention to other teams but I thought an average of 140 games was really as experienced as it gets. I thought Geelong of a few years ago was around that level.
