I think you need to get in contact with the Lions board and arrange a sit down, inform them how Chris Fagan is getting it all wrong with his selections, I'm sure they would appreciate the feedback.

Maybe put your hand up for a succession plan takeover while you're there 3KZ?
They can come to me. 👆

To the dopeys on here getting sand in their dickholes about my OPINION on Marshall's state of mind here's my comment. That's not me saying I know FOR A FACT that Marshall doesn't want to play for us.

The comprehension of some on here reads like someone who's had too much to drink & then concussed themselves into brain death.
Boy plays in two losses and looks unhappy. Must want out. 😂

Yep, I thought Henry Smith would be a good bail out option down the line to take a contested mark, hasn't happened in his 2 games to date.

With the mooted ruck change ie. throwing the ball up quicker you will need to have some mobility/pace around the ground, Henry doesn't appear to have that.
Getting out marked by Blakey is a bit of a shocker. He's got some promise but that should not be happening.

The only best 23 players who didn't play last night and will/should be available for the finals(if we make it) are Lachie Neale, Kai Lohmann, Ryan Lester, Brandon Starcevich and I suppose Oscar McInerney(doubtful looks very sore), Conor McKenna(Sub?).

So that leaves Noah Answerth and Jack Payne as the only best 23 players not available for finals, not too bad all things considered if that's how it pans out.

Kiddy, Linc are best 23 but have never really been a serious chance of returning to senior footy this year.
Wondering why it has taken Kiddy so long to be AFL ready. ACL occurred in OR in 2024, looks like he will miss virtually all of 2025 at AFL level.

As much as I love Hipwood, he deserves a mulligan for today. Just not his day.
My understanding is that he has kicked 6 goals in the past 11 games. Feel free to correct me, but if true this is simply appalling seeing he applies more or less zero defensive effort which no-one is exempt from. Apart from this his body language is hopeless and an extremely poor example for senior team member. Again, no-one should be exempt from a break in the 2's.

Effort is one of Hippy's strong points IMO.

From my viewing he runs his backside off to provide defensive pressure, does the same to provide an option on transition, even if he doesn't mark it on the lead he at least halves the contest on a decent number of occasions.

Both McLachlan and Smith in a forward line where Charlie can't get a kick was very unbalanced. McLachlan is a great mark but that’s about it and I think it contributed to a lack of balance for ground ball gets and pressure. Even Ah Chee play's best as a third tall almost.

Their one wood is the transition game and they are hard to beat when it’s bruise free. Even so we had more firepower to out score them but inaccuracy and two goal turnaround's don't help. So many 50/50 propositions when directly in front and we aren't kicking as many from the car park like the opposition this year.

He has a fresh quad injury I'm pretty sure. Basically out for the rest of the season.
Could that be from poor rehab or attempting to come back too quick, or just unlucky? Would have been great to have him in 2023 form for the last part of the season.

IMO the turning point was when Cam missed a very gettable set shot from around 35 meters right in front, Swans went straight down the other end and kicked a goal, followed by another one very quickly, 18 point turnaround in a matter of a couple of minutes.

Baiiley and Gardiner missed from right in front also and then somehow Hipwood kicked one out on the full from a slight angle and 30 metres out. Our goal kicking is always pretty useless.

Nothing wrong with his effort. I feel like his coordination is poor. Especially his hands. If I was to praise Eric, he's probably the best player on his wrong foot in the team.

It probably looks that way since he is regularly competing for ground balls at over 200cm tall. He really is too tall for the sort of player he should be

Its about the sort of player the coach & team need him to be....nothing to do with the player he should be.

I get that it is newsworthy but feels like this is a pretty average thing to report on if the investigation is just starting. Leading to all 23 players being speculated about rather than waiting for th outcome.

I wonder if it's a tap on the bum or a Hopoate poke.
Can't wait to hear the outcome of this.

First step in the AFL outlawing touching the opposition.

The bump is on the way out , the tackle has safety issues , let's face it touching is plainly inappropriate.

Well we know who did it. Libba and the like have had their day. Let's get it right out of the game.

Reminds me of during Covid when we were playing games and the players had to wear masks and be socially distant off the field and IIRC during after game team songs.... but yer it's fine to play a game, tackle, touch, sweat and breathe all over each other.🤣

Maybe we can bring in tag AFL just to be sure there is no inappropriate touching.

And another thing - Morris should have turned off comments on his tweet. Lots of gross speculation happening below.

I reckon I did see Mclachlan cop an off the ball whack the groin or stomach area. He certainly went down like a sack of potatoes
Yeah I saw that. Well it wasn't a touch ,it was a big whack.

I'd say whacking someone is perfectly fine. Touching someone is something we need to get right out of the game. Conceivably we're looking at an inappropriate sexual approach which should be referred to the appropriate authorities.

Interesting that there wasn’t a complaint from the Swans player. Must be a pretty bad look if the AFL have just picked it up by watching the footage. Either that or it’s a big beat up over nothing
