Need a wing who can have some midfielder minutes and lockdown an opponent. We don’t need to replace Berry with a small forward. That lessons should have been learned after we included McLachlan for the Sydney game.Just Kai for Bez next week?
Sounds like Neale is at serious risk of reinjury in finals according to Ralphy
As if you'd know anything about that sorta thing. Really. It seems pretty simple to me. They need to feel the weight on the bar to remember how to perform, and are prone to brain fades when everyone expects them to perform well, because they get excited about everything all at once and lose focus and sometimes can't break out of the functional freeze in time.
You ever have somebody in your life with ADHD who is an absolute superstar, but their consistency when everything is normal and steady and boring and routine-ey starts getting a bit shaky? Their inconsistency will be a mystery even to them, but you can count on them to come alive like Vesuvius when shit gets real?
You know, something like that I dunno.

We're pretty banged up. McCluggage has his left knee heavily strapped, as well a splint on one finger. I couldn't tell if Hippy had a loose, black knee brace on his left leg, or a calf compression sleeve, in the rooms after the match, and he has a limp.Hippy’s got his calf wrapped, limping off.
He reminds me of Chris Hansen. An honest toiler.I gave Sam Day a spray at half time but i thought he had a better second half though
Craig Mcgrath type as well i reckon. He reminds me of Chris Hansen. An honest toiler.
Squad, who knows but we know we will have Andrews and Zorko in teamMotty gets picked in the AA squad, doesn't he?
No tackle, no htb.Loved Lester's rundown in the goalsquare
BUT
They didn't pay the free! Most textbook HTB decision of the night, and they gave Freo the behind.
It annoyed me more than it should've when we were 5 goals up...
Squad, who knows but we know we will have Andrews and Zorko in team
Could be preferable - I imagine it would be much worse if the bad one was out again. Will no doubt depend on the scans as to how bad this one is.Fages said it was Bezs good shoulder which popped out
It was his left shoulder. Now I'm struggling to recall which shoulder he had all the reco's on. Which I thought was his left shoulder as well.Fages said it was Bezs good shoulder which popped out
The type of player you could see getting thrown up into the midfield during a GF when we are losing, breaking the game open and walking away with a NS.Just got back from the game . Fort was incredibly competitive and Day’s 3rd quarter was excellent. Andrews was inpassable.Washcroft is an excellent player, but I’d still take Jaspa. If he was allowed in the midfield, he’d make a few players look pretty silly. It’s clear the direction is to play through Jaspa whenever possible.
Thought he was solid in the second half, still worried that if we’re under the pump he’ll really hamper us in a few different ways but I think you’re right. If there were 5 weeks left to go I think I’d be wanting Gallop in there for a month to see what happens but at this point he’s probably our best option. Same goes for Gardiner and Doedee imoI think you have to run with Sam Day for the remainder. Our best footy has been with him in the side imo. There is downside to him but the way he presents and the basic forward craft brings our other players into the game: It’s why Allen will be such a big get next year.
It was like a moon boot they went out and put on when the players were standing around for Fyfe. It didn't seem to have the bulk down under the foot rather some sort of compression thingy maybe for a calf or achilles. It certainly made him limp whatever it was so must immobilise the ankle a bit. No ice on it that I saw. We're pretty banged up. McCluggage has his left knee heavily strapped, as well a splint on one finger. It's highly unlikely we see Berry again this season.
Tweaked his left calf in the 1st quarter. Scans on Sunday/Monday will reveal the extent of the damage. It was like a moon boot they went out and put on when the players were standing around for Fyfe. Fort was massive last night. Great smother from him at one stage. Just desperate. His hands are cleaner than Oscar’s and his ruck work has been super competitive. He’s also quite adept at finding our midfielders with his tap work at the stoppage. He’s a Premiership ruckman who is hungry for more.Just got back from the game . Yep I think we have ended up with the quintessential slider that every other club passed on some twice in the draft Jas.Joe Daniher's best H&A goal tally for Brisbane was 51 goals. Morris is only 4 goals away from that with the game against Hawthorn to come.
I know a lot has been said about him this year, but that's probably still not enough.
