Common sense for once by the AFL

Suns will want to win by the required margin against us to play Freo as they won't wanna play the Giants who have won the last 6 against them - at least when it comes to Freo they have actually beatem them i think 3 out of their last 7 encounters

It will be really funny (and I hope it doesn't happen) if GC loses. Do agree that, where they do win, the Giants will be too much for them.

The first time i saw Rayner kick his long goal i thought - weird, he only just made it, that was risky

On watching it again he lets it go from 60m. If he kicked it high it could have been touched on the line by the hawthorn player. So he kicks a dart, which clears the goalline from 60m straight through the middle. Elite kick. Hope Danster was watching

He won't. Danster's got his TV hardwired to only watching Demons games.

A while back I pointed out that Rayner had just come back from an ACL, hence why his stats weren't too high, and he didn't even know Rayner had done his ACL. Danster was peak comedy, but it's getting a bit old now.

Hopefully! I was quite surprised when we played the swans and Ah Chee didn't line-up on Blakey, instead it was Smith and the lizard proceeded to run off him for the entire game

I thought Ah Chee had one of his better games last night playing predominantly in Bez’s wing role helping out defensively. If Berry gets up for the game though, I’m putting Cal back into the same role he had last year on the oppos most dangerous HB option. That was critical in the finals series.

If it were us instead of Amon, we all would have been ropeable by the decision. Whether its 'technically' the right decision or not, it was a shocking free kick to give.

However, Hawks fans claiming that call lost them the game is also wild. We were on another level to them and on top the entire game.
We were inaccurate which was frustrating to watch but outside of that I really enjoyed the performance.

I really don't know why he bothers coming to the game.
Every game for 2 years all he does is bag the umpires and usually finds a Lions player to bag as the game goes on.
This is constant for each and every quarter.
His favorite players to bag are Hippy, Rayner, Day and Bailey.
But anyone that stuffs up early and he latches on to them until someone else stuffs up a disposal.
I have had a few words to him the last 2 years, but it is water off a ducks back.
He has most likely been doing it for 50+ years so no chance of changing.
I doubt he goes to junior games to watch the grandkids, or he would get banned quickly
Even when the Lions do get a free kick he finds something negative to say
I would not mind much if he was quiet, but he screams it out from the top tier as if the umpires will hear him
I would move if there were any decent seats to move to but with 66K members there are none.
I am seriously thinking about not renewing but i think my daughter would be disappointed if i did that.

Also, he does not know the rules properly which makes it worse. Of course, any free to the opposition is an absurd decision
He is stuck in the past as i doubt he knows there is a strategy called zoning.
He never stops about why our guys are not on their opposition player.

Why have a sub and not use them. Why don't you replace Rayner who is doing nothing etc.

Rayner goes on to have 11 disposals 5 marks and kicks a goal to seal the match. Not to mention breaking tackles etc.

I was shocked they paid it live, but on seeing other angles it was a lot more justifiable. It's hard to tell via the TV camera.

Massive loss when he is gone, as this is not really a trainable trait.

Club should everything else sorted out, then check the centre console, look down the back of the sofa, pass a hat around to the other boys to see what they're willing to chip in, and anything found give to Froggy.
I'm sure it's no issue for any of the other boys on longer contracts to push a little bit out to later years to keep Froggy on the park with them for another year.

If only he did. But even if the occasional word popped out it still would be difficult to report him
It would have been a good week for him to come out with a homophobic slur but alas no.
He is just a very one-eyed umpire hating Lions fan that also bags his own Lions players.
Every team in the competition can do without those sorts of fans.

Not that i have noticed. A few people in the row in front of me turn around and eye him off from time to time.

I’m also surrounded by people like this in section 424. Great viewing spot but I’ve thought of moving just to get away from them. I’d probably just end up next to a new set of nutters though. Do you want go halves in a private box!?

We are in Section 422, pretty good there. Only thing that gets me riled up is if an obese person sits in the seat next to me and spills over on to my seat.

CC for me. The main culprit for me is a guy in DD. He hates the whole team but for some reason has a special dislike of Noah Answerth who he says is a spud who has tickets on himself. Every time he opens his mouth I feel like punching him

The whole squad was out on the ground after the game including all the reserves boys and most of the injured boys too.

Linc wasn’t out there. Saw him out the front of the Gabba when I was walking out. Wasn’t in any official gear or anything either, which I found strange. Assume he’s still in and around the club this year, didn’t we give him an extra one next year?

I'm not against it, albeit it looks on the minor end. If they fined this consistently you could have probably fined 20 players across all of the games on the weekend. So a bit hard to see how they pluck these.
