Complete admiration for Q tonight. The Crows fans were a disgrace and he played one of his best games of the year. Damn I wish he'd kicked that goal though haha. Would have really rubbed it in their faces.

Funny thing, when most of the side had dropped off in the past couple of months, I have thought IQ had recaptured his 2023 form that saw him in the extended AA squad.

He's been consistently good lately and yesterday he took it up a notch!

Exceptional performance from the player
Pathetic, derogatory, disgusting behaviour from the Crows mob.

Strike a medal in his honour, should be roundly cheered onto the ground and for every touch next game.

Was huge for us! Great game.
Despite the ugly crom crowd, he was rock solid. Didn't even look like losing a 1 on 1!

Reminds me of H who was brilliant one on one especially in the loose ground ball contests. Better in the air than H and a better kick, maybe not as explosive taking a run with the ball though.

And needless to say a better teammate.
 
Rapt to see that IQ is doing the same loads as the mids. Fitness wise should have no issues playing midfield. Is he doing drills with the mids?

If his best mate Ginni can do it then why not IQ?

Had a great season but still think he has levels to go up.

2023 QF 4th quarter IQ coming up hopefully
 
Still don't love the thought of him playing in the middle and if he is I hope it's only for a few mins per game.

Very happy to be proven wrong though he's arguably our best defender and steps up enormously when the heat is on. Move Josh into the middle and keep IQ, Houston and Parker as our small / rebound defenders.

Leave our best offensive defender (Josh) there, and move Houston up to a wing.

My issue with this is that Josh isn’t much of a defender either. At least Houston can play a defensive role while still being a main distributor.

Agree with this. Personally prefer Daicous wing / forward. Some of his chase down tackles and at the ball drop are good, but not so one on one with the high ball and can get out muscled. The rest of his game is elite.

The problem is that Houston doesn't get anywhere near enough of the ball to provide the drive that JDaics did last year.

Josh doesn't need to defend, he needs to attack from defence, and that was a key pillar of our game plan. Houston failed miserably at that last season, and unless he considerably turns it around, we won't be able to lose Josh from his role
