Very happy to see Centrals getting their act together and starting to do some good things. I am hearing they are focusing on bringing back their talented kids and have over 30 available for an U/19's team. A massive push to drive development and pathway from the new junior president, a far cry from the previous one, who had no care for a one club mentality and only looked out for his own reputation.

Rumour on the street is Dylan Tarczon and Tommy Alkemade have signed at Talbot not looking good for riddle

Might be a silly question but I gather signing bonuses would be included in a teams cap?
Signing bonuses, incentives etc should all be included in the cap yes.

Have definitely heard this too and have rung around to try and develop a talented player pathway with an ex afl player to run the whole thing and give the youth of melton something to do

Yep. Can only be good to be more competitive. Am still hearing jungle drums around club that few bloods boys will sign up. This not just a kight flying exercise. Seem to be a few exiting maccy park.

On another note with all the signings that appear to be happening is the RDFL engaging on a new lease of life. Prospects are on the up.

Love this hope they engage with the very talented U15 group who i believe some maybe heading to the Keilor pilfering academy.

I’m hearing a couple of there decent 2s players could possibly be heading to Broadford.
Seany Duggan is loyal and was always gunna head back if/when they got going again, assume Gillard too as he's been there before.

Saying that Broadford don't need reserve or fringe players, so looking forward to the next announcements that hopefully include some big names, mature bodies with big resumes.

Had a parent ring today about Keilor juniors as a potential option - fair dinkum I didn't hold back on my thoughts around parents trying to seek an outcome - just let kids be kids and if the system is correct they'll get an opportunity by the time they're 20yo.

And if they're not good enough or to a preferred level, set them up as good team mates, club folk and quality human beings, that's actually seen as successful too believe it or not.

Jack Landt a handy pick up for Macedon.

Any chance Dylan might join him?
No idea, highly unlikely to be involved going into 2026 so wont now be including myself in any comm's with the club around list stuff, coaching etc.
Probably just plonk near the opposition coaches box or supporters, perhaps behind the goals and after close to 25 years take my turn and dishing a bit out with a can in hand like all the other brave soldiers ha ha

Hope ya don’t accidentally stand next to Turbo if you’re dishing a bit out with a can in your hand… that’s frowned upon remember

I'm actually good with Turbs, we have joined a few dots through non football stuff this year in conversation which I may need to utilise for a job providing it doesn't include a commitment to South ha ha.
Saying that if it did, beyond all else I need a job

As well as a shared interests in the community game so I'll behave in his presence I promise.
