So, Oliver has chosen the Giants according to Tom Morris. We really will have to consider leaving the bubble if we ever want to attract match winners and game changers. What was once our strength- huge following, huge crowds, at the epicentre of the football world, is now seen as a drawback by many of the modern more fragile players who want to kick the footy around on a weekend and then spend their time surfing, fishing and being anonymous. Josh Daicos mentioned the fact we are always linked to names but rarely get them to the club at the Copeland the other night. He sounded as exasperated as the fan base.
