The possibility of back to back top three picks father sons, what a time to be alive.

Welcome Harry, looking forward to you being the future general of this backline.

And potentially back to back to back top 3 picks. :D

Looks like he’s got a few more elite attributes than his dad. A bit more size, toe and footskills - if he can add that to the Ever-Reliable Peter Dean blueprint he’ll be a fantastic asset for the next decade.

Great to see Dad Peter and his emotion towards his son being drafted to Carlton. Getting to present the jumper is the stuff of dreams.

All I want to say is how much I love Peter Dean. What a magnificent player he was for this football club. Quiet, driven, skilful, hard as nails.

And as for young Harry, I reckon I’m going to love him too. If he walks out of this club as a premiership player like his old man I will be very happy.

Incredibly unlucky timing that they are the first and second seasons where it isn't much of an advantage...

Well if he’s rated top 3, he’s good enough to play Rd 1 next year IMO. No more indifference about [PLAYERCARD]Lewis Young[/PLAYERCARD] being our temporary CHB for 26.

I don’t mind Lewis as a tall forward option anyway, at least filling in whilst Kemp is ready to play after his ACL.

Over the moon with the selection, not thrilled with the cost. Felt the same about Jagga.

Admittedly, not only are both elite prospects, but also desperate list needs.

If they both turn out as well as we hope, the costs will be worth it.
