Didn't hear much after Roots, but I'd be semi curious to see their current live incarnation

They've been a consistently tight live act, even without the Cavaleras.

My first gig was actually the Against tour. I was under-age, so thankfully it was at Festival Hall so I could go.

I went to that tour at FH, did they do an all ages day gig as well?

Was a tight af show, plenty of the classics got a run, I recall Kisser was sporting a Sth Melb Hellas jersey

Nah, it was the same show, but FH is only age restricted in the bars, it's all ages otherwise.

I was technically under-age at that gig as well come to think of it, still buying beers though.

Bought the tour t-shirt, had a big 98 in US football writing on the back, the old lady threw it out as soon as there was a minor tear in it 😠

I saw them on the Against tour as well. Just quietly that is my favourite album of theirs post-Arise. Not that I've heard a great deal of them since.... I mostly checked out after Nation - really bad album

Their last few are pretty good, Quadra really sums up their whole career.

But nothing they do will touch Beneath the Remains and Arise.

Dying Fetus is packed!!

Had no idea they were this popular; seen them twice before (playing before Necrophagia and Nile), at Corner Hotel and Max Watts.

I'm sweating just from walking up. Had the whooping cough vaccine on Wednesday (my sister's about to burst) and have drowsiness and fever as a side effect 🙃

Might have to give Quadra a proper listen through then!

BtR and Arise are great, Schizophrenia as well. Early Sepultura is fantastic for sure

Yeah love it but dropped off after Arise. BtR the best for me then S then A. MV/BD decent too but prefer Kisser thrash era. Assume there will 2 shows in bigger cities - if Dying Fetus can sell out that venue surely Sepultura do.

Dying Fetus were pretty good. I'm not a massive fan but tight band and big turn out. It's just a bit modern digital sounding for me. They're mega professional but when everything is so perfect you may aswell be watching a progressive rock band. Anyway, maybe I'm not the best person to judge. Did really enjoy Praise The Lord at the end.

200 stab wounds were ok for about 10 mins. Sounded like they play a variation of the same riff for the whole set, and the vocals are a bit yelly and weak.

Missed 200 Stab Wounds, but based upon what you said I wasn't too eager to get there on time for them.

Dying Fetus were amazing, but I'm more of a fan; very tight set, that is a band that you can tell play live a lot; utterly locked in with each other, not a single mistake made.
