Don't forget Ando.I'd be surprised if there isn't a new addition to the midfield next season. Rolling with the same guys is going backwards.
The new addition(s) could be Perryman, DeMattia or one these new kids. Whatever happens the teams improvement depends on someone new in the midfield.
Swaddles and Prindles could be our 2025 version of the Sidebottom and Beams draft

How did you get my picture?
Exactly. There was a certain pick 58 who wore number 36 that turned out to be not too shabby!Which means zero once you walk in the door. You make your own destiny whether you are pick 5 or 50
Not quite. Sidebottom was pick 11 after kicking 10 in the TAC Cup GF.Werent they highly touted top 10 picks?
Why would he find it hard? Aren't we calling for more young mids to play? Wasn't that half the problem in the prelim? We'll def see some transition with youth being played next year.Could Sam be the Jack Crisp replacement? Similar size (some what projected) speed and movement to Crisp. Seems to spread well and is evasive. Should we use his run off half back or do we have to many hbfs all ready? I would certainly like to see him tested in the middle at VFL. But he might find it hard to break into the team in that spot without giant numbers thst he showed he is capable of as a junior at VFL.
He would find it hard because everyone wants that starting mid position at AFL level. He is behind Daicos x2, DeGoey, Long, Crisp, McCreery, Perryman and even Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Sullivan would be much more likely to get midfield minutes at this stage. Plus he is competing with Prindable, Anderson and Demattia who are on equal footing at the moment. Why would he find it hard? Aren't we calling for more young mids to play? He's not even training at half back. None of the young mids are.He would find it hard because everyone wants that starting mid position at AFL level. Breaking into the team as a half back would be easier imo.
Is he training in the midfield only? He's not even training at half back. None of the young mids are.
Pendles will play more half back from what ive seen.
Mccreey will never be a full mid. Pinch hit at most.
Josh I'm not sure will ever be a full mid either.
Crisp. Pendles and Sidey are over 30
There will be opportuntities.
I think both all of him, Prindable and Anderson will get opportunities.
correct. Is he training in the midfield only?

It might depend on what you mean by mid. But not even Ashcroft or Selwood played centre square in year 1. Most come into the AFL through wing, half back or half forward in quasi mid linking roles. Stoppage is for more mature players. Why would he find it hard? Aren't we calling for more young mids to play? Wasn't that half the problem in the prelim? He is lot more Verstile then Fin.The write ups on this kid are getting me excited. If he and another draftee turn into a mainstay then that solves a lot of problems long term.
Not to be a downer but I haven't seen him train or watched many highlights. What separates him from a Fin Macrae?
By who exactly? someone working at the club?I've been told Anderson may be the one that ends up at HB long term
Can’t say. But let’s see if it ends up being the caseBy who exactly? someone working at the club?
Did Pendlebury? Or was it the wing in his 1st year?It might depend on what you mean by mid. But not even Ashcroft or Selwood played centre square in year 1. Most come into the AFL through wing, half back or half forward in quasi mid linking roles. Stoppage is for more mature players.
