Who's "our"?

I'm sure you mean "Australians", but what is an Australian if not an immigrant, or a child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of an immigrant? We are a baby country as far as our white history goes. Any "society" or "values" we have are almost entirely inherited from the idea of immigration & multiculturalism.

The exception are the first nations peoples, but how well did the white man integrate into their society or give a shit about their values?

The person who tackled one of the gunman, his name was Ahmed al Ahmed. Without multiculturalism, such an heroic act would not have happened and more lives would have been lost.

I'm finding myself getting very frustrated at how members of the opposition but also sadly members of the Jewish community are gleefully turning this into a faux election campaign. I keep hearing the words, "we warned them this was going to happen and they have done nothing." My question is, what is the Jewish community expecting to the government to do? Stopping protesting against the war in Gaza isn't going to stop psychopaths like these two doing what they did. Hate filled people aren't going to be deterred by a move on law. What is it that their community wants? Every Jewish family to be provided with personal security? A fenced off Jewish territory of Australia? And while I understand the events are raw, the individuals that in the last 24 hours have come out and accused the police of doing nothing and cowering, can **** right off. What an absolute disgrace they are to have the gall to say such a thing.

Im with you on this and i live in a jewish area , what did they expect Albo to do with 2 random dogs , how do you stop that.
They bring out scum like Howard and Abbott and then there's Frydenberg still trying to be relevant

Agree. Exactly what is not needed at this moment. They took their cue from Netanyahu who is is on the same side of the political fence. He attacked and blamed the Australian government. Unbelievable arrogance from someone responsible for a genocide that has killed 70000 Palestinians including 20000 children, a genocide that is closely linked to the rise of anti semitism globally.

The politicising of this terror attack is disgraceful. It's like they're rubbing their hands together with glee that they have something to finally take the spotlight off their incompetent party. And now Frydenberg is going to use this to get back into politics. It makes me so mad.

I 100% understand that the Jewish community is angry and ropeable at what has happened. But for politicians to stoke the fire to advance their own agenda, is very dangerous.

While News Limited etc, including Hastie and Jacinta Price who are creating anti immigration ads, continue to try maliciously to divide us, Trump style, it is worth watching the 50 minute retirement press conference Usman Khawaja conducted yesterday at the SCG.

His message was one of equality, unity, humanity and peace. Same message he had for Dutton during the last election campaign when he was stirring up Isalmaphobia. Hastie and Price are trying the same tactic by exploiting the Bondi tragedy.

Any inquiry should focus on the intelligence and security forces and be bi-partisan.
