Probably best not to mention lettuce in a Jewish context I would say.
Not sure what you mean. I thought it was watermelon that was off limits?

Wont happen Jews aren’t involved. Was there ever an investigation done on the Isis flag raised during the “protest”
Wonder when the Sudan genocide protest will be.
Investigated and no charges laid, basically just a “don’t do it again”.Was there ever an investigation done on the Isis flag raised during the “protest”

The results of that investigation would have led to a difficult PR instance for Labor... so of course it did not occur. Was there ever an investigation done on the Isis flag raised during the “protest”

It wont.Investigated and no charges laid, basically just a “don’t do it again”.

NSW man denied bail for 'blatant' alleged display of Nazi symbols on boat
Lake Macquarie man Jake Dearie has been refused bail after being charged with depicting Adolf Hitler and Nazi symbols on his boat.www.abc.net.au
Don’t get me wrong, you can’t go being a Nazi or having a Hitler boat. But it’s clear that the system only sees antisemitism as a problem when it’s coming from the right. The interesting part will be whether that changes after Sunday..

"is time for him to accept personal responsibility for the death of 15 innocent people, including a 10-year-old child."OK.
Now tell me which of the above is outrageous to you that he is so despicable outside of the comment on Hamas?
You being uncomfortable as an ALP voter with a hard truth is not a reason btw.
As I've said before, the Libs keep resorting to nasty Trump style politics, they're gonna be out of power a long time. We don't need or want that shit here. And comments like that are as nasty and vindictive politics as you can get."is time for him to accept personal responsibility for the death of 15 innocent people, including a 10-year-old child."
On any level that's disgraceful
Yup lots of them, give me an example of pro Frydenberg.Show me the Hamas supporters. Are they in the room with us right now?
I ask a question? Even before the election on all the big popular pages on Facebook on polls eg Herald Sun ang Prime Sunrise eg press like for Albo or sad for Dutton . I didn't see much support for Albo..
And now I see far more support for Pauline Hanson then I ever before.
The question i ask? How does Labor keep winning when you don't see or hear many voting for Labor?
Im just interested thats all in people views
This seems far from simple.Step 1. Acknowledge the problem. That's the simple part. You can't solve most problems overnight, but good luck solving any by pretending they don't exist. Even if you change the gun laws that will take months if not years to come into effect. It's a medium to long term play.
If you (royal) aren't prepared to acknowledge the problem then anything else is pointless. Tighten already strict gun laws. Talk tough on antisemitism and right wing extremism. Window dressing. If you are, then welcome to where it stops being easy.
Australia determines its own immigration policies. We're not part of the EU, we have no land borders. As we saw during covid we can have no arrivals of any kind from anywhere if we want.
Australia determines its own internal laws and policies. We already have hate speech laws, banned symbols etc. We can be "tough on <insert thing>" if we want to be.
When I was born the Muslim population of Australia was around 0.5%. When I finished school it was 1.5%. Now it's around 3-3.5%. In another 20 years it will most likely be 5%+. For reference it's 6% in the UK, 10% in France. 8-10% in Sweden, 5% in Denmark, 6% in the Netherlands... whose lead are we going to follow?
To ask a simple question - who asked for this? Which voting bloc by age, religion, political leaning - whatever, actually asked for this? Who if it were put to a referendum tomorrow would vote for increasing the Muslim population to 5% or 10%? Say what you want about good Muslims, peaceful Muslims etc. but the problems in the West always stem from the same source which is pretending that demographics don't matter. Western democracy has failed for decades now.
You're not really surprised why Facebook polls on Herald Sun posts aren't reflective of election results, are you?I ask a question? Even before the election on all the big popular pages on Facebook on polls eg Herald Sun ang Prime Sunrise eg press like for Albo or sad for Dutton . I didn't see much support for Albo..

Because those polls and possibly the people you interact with are not representative of the Australian electorate.I ask a question? its really this simple.
If we keep allowing neanderthal Islamic clerics to openly call for Jihad and Sharia Law in this country, these type of extremist worms will continue to sprout and the risk of this shit happening is greater.
stop a major source of extremist teaching and this shit will be better contained.
Wasn’t that one of Frydenbergs requests? Ban the Clerics?
I notice nobody has posted his quotes from the ABC tonight? I wonder why?
“That is an insult to say there is any political motivation in this. No, Sarah, the reality this, I am an Australian who has to have personal security because my life is endangered in this country and I was the Treasurer of this country. My children go to a school where there are armed guards outside. When I visit a Jewish care centre, there are armed guards outside. When I send my kids to sporting clubs, there are police cars out there and police tape.
How should we live with this? Why should we live with this? If I’m not going to speak out, who is? If not now, when? If not me, who. This was an attack on Jewish Australians. I am focused on action. ”
Gee, sounds like complete political opportunist to me…
Facebook is now considered a platform for older people, couple that with the “legacy media” pages you mention and you filter even more for older people.I ask a question? When you've got people like old mate thinking Islamic State inspired terrorists have more in common with western progressives than being the unhinged ultra-conservatives that they (IS) are, "the system" is far from the only thing broken. The system is trying to use the same word to describe both Miss Rachel and Hamas.
It's broken, man.
I don't like Chris Minns' idea of restricting protests after a terrorist attack. I get where he is coming from regarding lowering the temperature, but this is a slippery slope we have already started down in this country and should not slide any further. Restricting or banning protest is what authoritarian regimes do. What did Hitler do after the supposed terrorist incident that was the Reichstag fire?

The guards have been outside Mt Scopus school in Burwood for 40 years. There was always a much greater element of paranoia than actual need for security guards. Does there actually need to be armed guards there? Have they chosen to have them there and it's led to a sense of paranoia for a lot of Jewish people who go to them. Things might have changed recently, but there was never a realistic threat and the security never really did anything.Wasn’t that one of Frydenbergs requests? Ban the Clerics?

Please point me in the direction of pro Jewish posts and thereafter please point me to anti Hamas posts. I suspect the latter number will be very very very very very very very very very small. But please go ahead.Who?
