I have a spreadsheet for laying off multi bets (1 leg at a time - events can't be on at the same time) on betfair for a small qualifying loss. So chucking 4 or 5 legs in a sport multi looks like I'm just a recreational punter trying to hit big numbers.

This also makes the bookmakers happy as the bets are designed to lose (lay bet wins in betfair) so I don't get flagged for withdrawing all the time. Just another mug playing the lotto is what they like to see.

The reason I got banned from Betr is because I recently changed my strategy with bonus bets. I was placing 3 leg multis with high EV and using the SGM feature to juice the odds.

So for example you can have a 3 leg multi which includes 2 normal legs and an SGM in a treble. The profit from bonus bets shot up for about 10 months but as you see it also got me banned. Oh well.

Jugada makes a good point. If I happen to win the unlikely multi then I would just withdraw from betr. If you happen to win a large sum in cage, they may play games.

Anyway it's very easy. Just google "sequential lay calculator" or similar, and you'll be able to download a range of excel spreadsheets with instructions on how to use them.

Basically you input all the variables like number of legs, back odds lay odds etc and you just lay off the legs one at a time until one loses.

Exactly like a single but slightly more planning required. Mine looks like this. So you input the bookie odds for each leg and it will tell you the lay bet to make on betfair exchange.

The aim is to get the same qualifying loss regardless as you can see on the right. If you back favourites early in the week and the prices come in, then you often get a profit with these when you lay closer to game day.

We got lucky there, having said that, LA dominated the first half and there were multiple times they couldn't execute in the red zone and had to settle for a field goal.
