I actually haven't seen a lot of UK comedies over the years outside of and random episodes of others like the UK Office.
I recommend it. Mackenzie Crook who played Gareth in The Office is the main character. It’s funny, also poignant.

Straight to the ignore list with you, sunshine. 🤨

The Eternaught. On the back on Chris Ryan's recommendation as one of is top 10 shows of the year...

Well now Im questioning his taste, I found this pretty damn ordinary. There were so many weak character developments and just things that didnt make sense. I watched it in dubbed English with subtitles so maybe that didnt help, but so many exchanges were just dumb or contradicted recent convos or future ones.

Sometimes I noticed inconsistencies in costumes from scene to scene and that really pulls me out of the experience.

Ive got 7 minutes left of the final episode and Im not sure I will even bother watching that.

I didn't mind it as something a little different... but Chris & Andy's love for this & 'Eastern Gate' just reeked of finding 2 international series in a quiet spot of the year and over-rating them way too much.

about 4/5 episodes into true detective season 2

not as good as s1. unfortunately i think part of this problem is vince vaughn. i have serious misgivings about an actor who would willingly star in a remake of psycho (i understand that is a me problem). but mostly, his dialogue keeps trailing off into vague nonsensical stuff and his storyline is just not as interesting as the show thinks it is. the characters are overall morally complex. but a mafia boss type who gets mopey after a bout of erectile dysfunction (i think that was the issue, see: vague nonsensical stuff) is just silly.

I've just watched S2-E1 and struggled to know what's going on other than the personal stuff of the main characters. Hopefully it will become clearer...

I'm still not sure if it's because of the gulf in quality between season 1 and 2 but I thought 2 was complete shite. Maybe if it was the first season, it wouldn't seem so bad. So disappointed I never watched 3 or 4, though I hear they are OK in their own right.
Season 3 is much better than season 2, not as good as one.

Season 4 had so much promise but sort of just drifted off. It's hard to describe. It had atmosphere and some good actors in it, but I think it just wasn't well written.

In other words, I recommend that you watch season 3. It's good quality.

Halfway through the first episode of Last Samurai Standing. Someone tell me this isn't just Squid Game with Samurai?
Been busy, only just got round to watching the second episode.

This was ****ing epic!
Where he snaps and obliterates the group of soldiers!

They did the Guardian God dirty. Just introduced him, looked like an interesting character, had him losing to someone he was clearly better than.

Have watched the 1st 6 episodes of season 3 of The Americans. Still has my attention, but it's a bit of a slow burner so far and I was on nyet, nyet, nyet territory with it, but now, after watching the 7th episode; Da, da, da. Like someone said, if you were to watch it on a weekly basis when it first came out, it would be easy to pack it in.

That scene when they're bugging the mail robot in the factory & Elizabeth helps the old lady kill herself 🄺

Tulsa King - Prime

Something Ive been meaning to watch for a while but put it on the back burner till this week

Its ok - different mafia type storyline but its an unbelievable premise - yeah yeah I know its tv

Its a vehicle for Stallone and he drives most of the action and drama .

Its not terrible and the rest of the cast all fit in - the 1st season was quite well done but by the 3rd it kinda jumped the shark

Dana Delaney and Stallone have real chemistry and Delaney came across as someone having fun

Stallone alot smarter than he looks.
He has written alot of movies inc the org rocky movie.

He was apart of the writing in the bev Hills ccp movie. But he wanted it darker lots but it would of got a R rating .
Anywoo he left it and too the written stuff to make Cobra. In bev hills cop 2 they had a Cobra poster in Rosewood house.

Being watching Sean Diddy Combs doco.

Never liked him but I dis like him more now.

Can't believe noone busted a cap in his arse.

That’s what it’s like to be rich and famous in the entertainment industry. People will cover for these criminals for decades.

Sean Combs crimes was an open secret for decades. Same with Russell Brand and Harvey Weinstein. Jimmy Saville was knighted in 1990 and his crimes was an open secret from the early 1970’s.

Seems you have amazing information, have you considered telling someone about it?
