Poor Robertio flexing about a time he wasn't even alive to witness when Carlton were good...

It would be like us flexing about the late 1920's.
which is what you were doing up until 1990

Poor old Meteor....

His pathetic team is again irrelevant, so now he feels the need to buddy up to his miserable Carlton mates in an effort to get attention.

Oh boy.
As opposed to you posting complete rubbish to get attention.
At least Meteor has some common sense and actual understanding of opposing teams to the one he supports.
Good for him I say.
Merry Xmas…and may all your predictions and wishes for the 2026 season come to nothing.

The thread doesn't exclude patrons from superior clubs so naturally I thought I would grace it with my presence.

Wtf does "herp derp" mean anyway? You write that about as often as Fadge writes "go" and it has even less impact. Something I would previously have thought was unlikely to ever happen.

The Tigers winning 50% more flags than any other team in the last decade is not exactly VFL history either.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know my presence here irritates you no end. Which I suppose is why every time I make one post about Carlton v Collingwood you make 5 posts about me. 😁
Carry on…apart from the Carlton supporters in here, you actually bring some proper wit and truths. Let’s face it…not really hard when you’re up against fudgey and co.

Wouldn't any non-minnow club recall the calendars and release an updated calendar with players who are actually at the club in 2026?

Further proof of their minnow status.
Are you suggesting this has never happened at pie land?
Gotta say…one of the more pathetic flexes I’ve seen…even from you.

Um, no.

Pretty sure a Powerhouse club wouldn't release a calendar for the following season featuring a player who won't even be at the club.

And if they did, they'd recall it.

I mean, there was no secret Curnow had one foot out the door over the back half of the season - why would he be front and centre in the 2026 calendar?

Minnows.

Idiot. They call this an ā€˜own goal’.
So you obviously support a minnow club based on your logic.
Bahahahaha…
And there’s likely to be more examples of your club proving its faults…but I just grabbed the first link I saw.
Congrats by the way…I’m sure this has been an enlightening moment for you.
Merry Xmas minnow supporter.

Idiot.
Oh... didn't realise they were on the front page of the calendar like Curnow is....

Love how they talk about us being 'the big losers of the 2020 trade period', and we win a flag in 2023....

LOLOLOL.

Minnow clubs are the ones who have their best players lining up to get to....

St. Kilda!

No wonder Saints supporters always say 'At least we're not Carlton....'
ā€˜Best players’ lol…
Keep digging fudge…I’m on holidays…I’ve got time to watch you sweat it out.

And to think…McRae took one of our ā€˜best players’ out for a coffee date…still could’nt get him to the pies…lol minnows.
Would have happily had him.on our list for the right price.

But keep flexing about your best players not being able to leave the joint quick enough...

But at least your list is now more 'balanced and dynamic', albeit considerably worse...

Says you… 🄓

Our ā€˜best players’ happen to still be at the club.

You say it yourself - happy to have them on the list for the right price.
You then proceed to talk about TDK going to another club - for the right price ( i gather you agree his 1.7 mill cost is acceptable for you )
And then Curnow who asked for more money midway through an already negotiated contract ( front ended mind you ) , so decides to leave for more money as well. What do you value his worth at ? Id be particularly interested in your valuation of both these players fadge, before you flex about "right prices'

Curnow would have left Carlton for a bag of chips and a can of coke. He was done playing for that rabble.

Good teams retain players for unders, particularly those with ambitions to contend for flags. Most players in the comp could explore the open market, and attract more $$$ to leave.

What is your valuation of TDK, silvagni, and curnow per year, as of 2026

What a stupid question.

What could Nick Daicos get if he explored the open market, and why is he still at Collingwood for significantly less?

Why did Finn Callaghan knock back the massive offer from St. Kilda to stay at GWS for less?
Its not a stupid question at all.
NIck Daicos will get his chance to explore the open market when his next contract is due (2027 ?), so what do you think he will ask for, and will Collingwood pony up ?
Did st Kilda offer Callaghan 1.7 mill ? Might have had a significant bearing on his decision i would have thought.
Anyway , im sure you will avoid answering my question at any cost for the sake of avoiding discussion
