Avatar was cool but way too ****ing long. Also 3D sucks, dims the vibrant colours and crisp special effects that you want to see in a movie like that.

This happened to me last year. About 5 days before Christmas. Was brutal. Well, Christmas Day itself was OK last year but January from memory was a nightmare.

Insurance covered it thank goodness, but yeah the wait was tough.

I'm seeing Avatar later today at the new IMAX at Carousel (I'm sceptical that it's a real IMAX).

DBOX is great, the motion is adjustable and if you don't like the motion you can turn it off completely and it's still far more comfy than your average cattle class cinema seats
