I stopped getting in the front when I noticed all the drivers seem to be on their phone the whole trip.

They aren't there for a chat or whatever. It may as well be a robot driving.

So I just get straight in the back and mind my own business

A few years ago i was getting regular ubers to the airport at 4am. I actually got downvoted on a few trips where I just got in the back and fell asleep.

now I just get in the front, say g'day, still fall asleep and no more downvotes

9/10. What a ride. Part 2 was definitely a rocky road, but that's how you end a series.

My thoughts.

Spoiler: Spoilers

Els a goner.

Mike becoming the storyteller instead of the fighter feels right. Hopper teaching him that words matter as much as action, and Mike choosing hooe and beilef, is nice closure for his character and is able to raise the spirits of the crew, even though he is hurting the most.

The final scene of him putting away his book is heartbreaking.

The final scene reflecting how it all started. The crew leaving the basement and leaving behind their childhood we have all journeyed with.
The older kids on the roof top.
Hopper and Joyce getting a fresh start.
Also Joyce with the final KO to Vecnar was deserved.

All in all, bittersweet but satisfying ending.

Oh, and "Heros" as the credits roll
