You pointed out the major issue with the article, but there's other issues in it which IMO are even more insidious.

How is this even a story, let alone according to Sky news an "exclusive". Sharri and her team didn't have the negotiation skills to complete the interview she wanted for her show. It might be news at Sky but not anywhere else.

A friend had a gun pulled on him once. He wasn’t shot but it still gives him anxiety issues to this day.

It means

2. You're too invested in hating Muslims so you'll say anything to push that cause

Because the sad truth is that by posting that link you are giving Sky News and their pathetic reporter all they are seeking - a click to their website and justification for them continuing with this bs faux outrage culture wars baiting.

IMO, with stuff like this it's better to just post a screenshot of the headline/lede. And a summary of what it contains in your own words. That way we all get a sense of what it's saying, no BF copyright rules are broken and Sky doesn't get the revenue hit it needs to survive.

How far back do you think this investigation should go? What, if anything, distinguishes anti-semitism in Australia vs the rest of the world? What, if anything, distinguishes anti-semitism from other forms of racism, bigotry, discrimination, vilification etc etc?

Nah, Muslims are still the biggest threat to our culture, identity and our language.🙄 It'd be funny if it wasn't such a serious issue. We had some Israeli papers/media calling us the most antisemetic place in Europe, which, again, would be hilarious if it wasn't a serious issue. They started drawing caricatures of the dumb Paddy which might have gotten on peoples nerves a few years back, but think most people see it for what it is and getting people who are horrified by what the Israelis are doing in Palestine distracted.

Our facists here are not well organised and they had started fighting amongst themselves over, I can't even remember, but there was a split. There's definitely "casual" racists here who don't go on marches about our land and sovereignty being threatened, but a lot of people are critical of the government for not addressing it and staying silent. If anything they get protected by the police when they hold demonstrations and during lockdown they were allowed to march scot free. Similar going ons in Australia?

I know there's a lot of anti everyone who is not of pure Arayan blood in the fascist rule book, but they never get labelled as antisemetic - it's those bloody unwashed lefties - but they don't really express hatred anyone aside from Muslims which includes Palestinians, and there's a whole lot of contradictions with them, decrying people who are angry about what's going on in Gaza, and not taking more notice of our country being Islamafied. Conversely, these dolts were never to be heard when people were being shot dead by the British army and during trials of soldiers. Nor seem to be aware that our language was banned when Britian occupied the whole island. You can't make some of it up.
