I liked my song choice. It won't fit into the new category. And having 'all' is akin to a free for all round in which case I wouldn't nominate what I did.

AI is an interesting topic, with a lot of scope for musical commentary.
I didn't take it as a directive for an AI invented song ffs.

Got mine ready. Not sure if it will garner many votes, but my taste is my taste.

Thank you to those who voted for my choice in the most recent comp by the way. (Little Red Light by Fountains of Wayne).

For any Fountains of Wayne interested type people, they reformed in 2025 after a 12 year break, and without founding member and songwriter Adam Schlesinger who died of covid in 2020. They are also sans guitarist Jody Porter who is currently absent due to health issues.

FoW put on a NYE show in Chicago last night, with the addition of a female backing vocalist/violinist and a separate backing vocalist ensemble. I've watched plenty of FoW shows over the years and this one was top shelf. The band additions added so much depth to the sound.

I had a crapola 2025, so one of my all-time fave bands getting back together and putting on a show like this to finish said year has made me a very happy sherb indeed. Just a shame I couldn't be there.
