He missed a year prior to the issue that caused his retirement. He was very safely in the 22 at that stage.
Not sure he was ever safe late in his career

He certainly established himself but he would have known the future was coming for him and antransition to more dynamic midfield meant he had 1st crack but had to perform

He was as safe as houses when he missed all of 2021 with a groin.

I love Bigmans Training Reports.

Living interstate means I get very little offseason information on our players, so there is nothing better than a fresh report hitting BF and reading the in-depth insights from someone I trust to not blow smoke up our collective chimneys.

On the other hand, filling my favourite thread with arguments over injury management … not in my top 10.

Can we perhaps give this thread the reverence it deserves? Take the non-related stuff ANYWHERE else!

I love what he does but some are never happy.

You know there’s been 3 weeks off and no training reports ;)

I think we can achieve the goal of blaming everyone but the players for any issues which arise this year :D

But the point being made as he said he overtrained in preseason of 2025 which blew this injury up, not talking about back then
Is the word "was" missing before the word overtained in that sentence?

I'd be happy at this point if bigman just made up a training session in his imagination and wrote up a post on it. I need SOMETHING at this point.
That would be very on brand for this forum whereby certain people make stuff up and their sycophants treat it as gospel.

Murphy is the key to everything. It will be interesting to see how we fare without him cursing us.
The Cockledivers are hot favourites for the flag!

I follow a team in the Southern League (not Port Noarlunga) so I can provide an update on how Lachie is tracking.
I am predicting that Lachie will have a better season than Tariek did up in Pt Augusta last year.
