In the times I saw Urquhart on the wing at the ground, it was because Wardlaw and Phillips were being played in the centre square as part of George's return program.

This idea that the boy's progress has been derailed by coaching stupidity to play him out of position is just bizarre.

Agreed.

He played plenty of minutes inside. Showed some promise there against Richmond and Collingwood (20+ games), but also got bullied by seasoned vfl mids from Werribee and hawthorn. He played a few different positions after that to help teach him a few things.
