One thing I miss about Brisbane. Hang the clothes out on the weekend in August. They're dry in a hour.
We did about 7 loads of washing on that 40 degree day a few weeks ago. The clothes you hung up first were almost dry by the time you got to the end of the basket.

Especially for a hardened professional like Keays. I'm not too worried tbhLow grade hamstring isn't so bad, should only miss a couple weeks training
At least we heard about this oneWell, this will be the first test of our new Fitness guy.
Is Keays injury one of those 2-3 week tears or one of those that ends up being 6-8. I dunno, just Birdman has me nervous now every time someone does a hammy or groin
West AdelaideYes, let’s double down on our gameplan that failed miserably in the finals, seems logical
We've HEAVILY invested in the draft the last few years. You assuming that Thilthorpe, Rachele, Draper, Curtin, Soligo, Worrell etc aren't improving?Organic growth pre-seasons are the best
I was just being silly. My honest opinion is that we are so close and just need those guys to go up one peg and a guy like Draper to break through. I’ve been vocal on my Draper doubts. But Im hoping I’m wrong. I reckon we are one gun mid and small forward short of a premiership contender. We've HEAVILY invested in the draft the last few years. Seen their midfield compared to ours?According to Murray Davis - it worked for Brisbane.
Haven't you ever heard the old saying...' the harder you work, the more tired you get'So what’s that mean…………… work harder longer

Problem is our main competitors for a flag over the next 5 years are absolutely stacked with elite mids. Just look at Lions and Suns who I will be surprised if they dont win at least 3 of the next 5 flags.I was just being silly. West AdelaideYou're spot on with the un-balanced draft edge BRIS and GCS have ....that said, both Clubs will find it hard to retain all their best players, as interstate Clubs pick them off with better $contracts and preferred playing positionsProblem is our main competitors for a flag over the next 5 years are absolutely stacked with elite mids. Lions - Ashcroft x 2, Fletcher, Marshall, Annable all recent first rounders (many top 5-6 picks) on top of Mc Luggage, Bailey etc
Suns - Rowell, Anderson, Petracca, Miller, Humprey plus 8 first rounders in the last 3 years that have hardly impacted yet
For an eternal optimist I think our List Mgt has done very well overall in the last 5 years but still dont think we are a top 2 side for talent, so unfortunately reckon we will make a number of prelims over the next handful of years but perhaps struggle to make or win a GF. Hope I am wrong..
It's probably a bit late but the AFL has finally moved to make those academy picks more expensive/ harder to stockpile. Will have to see if it's enough but making the pick points drop off quicker and not being able to have more picks than actual vacancies should mean the northern clubs will have to make more decisions on who they take from their acadamies and who they let go 'cos they won't be able to get them all anymore. Those changes should have happened a couple years ago though. You're spot on with the un-balanced draft edge BRIS and GCS have ....that said, both Clubs will find it hard to retain all their best players, as interstate Clubs pick them off with better $contracts and preferred playing positions
Flanders to SAINTS just one example
