Last night we jumped on for our first live of the year to chat about pre season and to try work out how many games we think can be won in 2026.

Some great discussion, including an epic AI fail by CB ha ha.

i believe he did after is was all resolved. he got half a point for some of his answer, but zero points for the rest of it ha ha.

Liked your predictions n wins. But it was all a bit too rose glasses to me. Clubs like North are more winnable than likely wins.

But with the turmoil in Melbourne (hah), Essendon (lol), Carlton (ROFLMAO) a few more wins might come about. If we do win 10-12 games then I'll be stoked. But my expectation is 4 - 8 wins. 4 if things go wrong, and 8 if they go well. More is possible, but then so is my winning the 100m at the Olympics.

Yeah I think we ended on 7 games in the win section.

For me they should be games we go into with a expectation to win.

As we said afterwards though that there will no doubt be some games in the win section that we lose and maybe we pick up a win from the gettable area along the way.

I actually mentioned off air that my big call forthe year is we win 10 games.

Thats extremely optimistic mate and hope you are correct but im a bit more conservative and believe it will be 5/6 wins and im ok with that but hope our percentage is 85%-90% and get games into the younger kids and we see the talent come through. I can deal with another year in the bottom 2 so long as we see development in the kiddies and cant wait to see the careers pan out with our Ferrari's in the garage. Just so much to look foward to the next 10+ years

If things go wrong, injuries, other teams playing better etc, then we could have a tough year.

But I expect us to have some periods where we look really good and win games we aren't expected to and win some big. And soe periods of flatness and meh.

I reckon we can win 10, but that would be extraordinary to me. In fact, I would be very happy to lose a couple off the back of the young guys playing, but learning. As I've said many times 2028 is when I hope things go BANG!
