I reckon horse racing is screwed long term. They have conditioned everyone with promos. When the governments keep upping the taxes and they offer worse odds & no promos, people will lose too quick and won't bother.

365 lost a lot of money last year. They have clearly changed their betting model now. Seem to offer a lot worse odds for all 3 racing codes here than they did just 12 months ago, and have dropped a lot of promos. They seem to be changing to more of a casino product (that part is banned in aus).

I have gone back to using betfair for sports but even they have lifted commission on sports from 5% to 6%. Horse racing is a mess with betfair too.

Shame we don't have access to the good stuff in Aus. When you chuck on the VPN you see the UK betfair site with live betting, casino etc etc. Such a superior product. But apparently offshore gambling is Australia's main problem atm.

The only thing that amuses me about promo bans is the disbelief from the people who get banned, if all you ever do is take significantly inflated odds about odds on favorites, you can probably expect to get the hammer.
