I’d love to get these shorter YouTube videos your making as podcasts, any plans to do that? I’d love to be able to listen to them while walking. More content the better, I’d watch/listen to them multiple times, can’t get enough, you’re doing a great job and service for all of us. 👍

Love the work as always fellas.

Couple of points from listening this morning.

Short when fit is a 23 lock. May that change later in the season? Absolutely but in the leadership group, Yze seems to really trust him. Cant see him coming out for anything bar injury early doors.

On Dowling i'd say its pretty naive to assume we have rushed him in purely on 2 hours of a practise match on Friday. Our recruiters infact all recruiters follow these guys for years. Seems especially with us and the Dons we are always pinching prospects from each other programs :tearsofjoy:. Durham, Gray, D'Ambrosio, Dowling, May, McDonough.

If we pick Sonsie over Tom Brown i'll spew up. Hats of to Sonsie for having a good pre-season but so he should, its last chance saloon for the kid. I'm stoked he's had a good pre-season but still for mine he hasnt done enough to keep Brown out of the side nor Trainor for that matter. As you guys mentioned you basically want this as the dress rehearsal for your best 23 v Carlton in a few weeks time. I've got Brown in that over Sonsie.

My point with Short being borderline is his strengths aren't outweighing his deficiencies as much as they used to. He isn't as quick, his kicking penetration and accuracy have dropped which causes him to panic and either long bomb or dump kick. He is still also a liability defensively. If it comes down to having Short at half back, or getting games into Brown/Grlj in their preferred positions, thr answer should be the youth imo.

Yeah sure and if that continues then I’m sure come the second half of the season the football dept will be having those serious discussions. But the fact the players have voted him into the leadership group suggests that the players and coaches value what he brings to the club. Sometimes especially with a young developing list it’s more than just kicking the footy. It’s the experience, it’s the voice, it’s making sure the kids are in the right spots. That’s why he’s playing.
