Tauru fantastic in the air. Good man marking. Gets to the right spots. Very courageous.

However i close my eyes when he is about to kick the ball, matter of fact i cover my head. He has to IMPROVE.

Boxy had a mighty night
Max Hall could become our best player, outside of Nas lol
Conditions didn't suit so we changed our game style and out hunted them. They might get free dips at talent but right now our systems and development is better.
Anyone notice higgo only kicked drop punts. Looked professional.
Outside of SOS it was a very fruitful trip.

Wilkie taking out his fellow defenders one by one.
Needs to be smarter than that. Was beautiful watching him not have to lockdown the big forward and could play smaller or on the hand off.

Enjoyed that. Some great signs. Preseason, Suns not trying etc etc. But we kept going and got a lot out of the game. All our recruits showed why we got them. Great for their individual confidence.

Youngsters were all good. Trav a bit of a mystery though. Carrolls game not quite there.

And old whipping boy Ryan Byrnes ended up having a good game. Did a couple of sloppy things and was copping stick in X and here. But good on him. He had a solid reliable game and always seemed an option.

The stats would be interesting. Flanders got leather poisoning. Hall has got better…( is that possible?!). Sharman super clever. Macrae reminded us how good he is. Great user and link up player. Just gets in the right spots.

As I said, an enjoyable watch.

Good hit out. Plenty to like.

Hall elite. Boxshall and Wilson coming along nicely. Macrae still a vital player. Sharman is a smart footballer.

How good was having some height on the ground.

Also impressive that it was 26v36 yet we seemed to run out the game with no issues. We are a very fit team.

Main negative was JSos concussion.

Interested with how Carroll goes alongside Sinclair next week. Not sold on his disposal yet but hard to know how much was the conditions. I thought Windy looked great in defence so might be the option for half back alongside Sincs.

I can see Hill being so much better with this team around him too
Sincs and Hill will only improve our ball skills and leadership.

I had completely forgotten they weren’t playing.

Hammer was a really solid tonight too.

Rd 1 update
Really struggling with some of the bench spots too many mids to fit in. I think Box is gonna be to good to leave out. I think he edges out Hugo at this stage if only one of them gets picked. Last spot another small defender/small forward or Wood/Clark if they’r healthy. Looks like Windy/Flamders will wax at HB/Mid.

Felt sorry for him months ago and still do

Still think he can play great footy for the Dees, but the right decision as strange of a feeling as it was
The spread and speed was unreal. Jack doesn’t have that anymore.

If that’s what they wanted - he wouldn’t have seen much afl game time.
