The best thing is all of our 3 irish kids are very different.
Kobe has genuine leg speed, only just turned 18, and is one to watch for us track watchers come July!
Shades of early Milney in that clip, reminds me of the Essendon version that we saw running about kicking our arses in the reserves GF. I was thrilled to get him, and Kobie is giving me the same feeling.

Yep Adelaide and port have two years to accumulate picks and cash.

Leaves them in an interesting spot. Imagine trying to plan for a 2 mil player to be there but you can't be sure. How do you even do that.
Realistically Adelaide would know they're no chance, and if Port are bottom 3rd of the ladder whilst we're top 3rd then they wouldn't really be able to mount a case.

We have got him for the next 2 years just enjoy

If we are playing finals and are a good club he's going nowhere

Port won't have the picks, they're going to have to throw so much at landing Cochrane this year, likely any quality picks from this year and next.

In the meantime let’s working on signing the others we need to keep…
Wilson
Dodson
Sharman etc etc

Well worth the 34min watch

Max King for Rnd 4 (lol)
TPP was 80%, and then 15% bought forward to meet the 95% requirement
The comment regarding the possible legal action re: disenfranchising of clubs in the context of inequitable access to talent was a very interesting comment
Spoke a little about the off field family aspect in regards to Battle - said it was ok, but relatively inadequate. As an example, the club had a creche when Ross left for Freo, and then this had been discontinued in the time he had been gone
The Melbourne game midfield was the turning point for Steele and his future

Was it just me or did Damo look sh1t scared he was going to be scorched alive by RTB.
Seemed to me he was poking the bear then reeling backwards waiting for the whack!

thsi is something i've been banging on about for a while:
"The comment regarding the possible legal action re: disenfranchising of clubs in the context of inequitable access to talent was a very interesting comment"

the only way you'll ever get movement on onfield equalisation is to threaten to very existence of the NSW and QLD clubs along with clubs like Geelong. as soon as you challenge the salary cap and draft. the QLD and NSW clubs will spend decades in the bottom 4 and a club like geelong wont get near a flag. we may not but under the current circumstances it looks like we will never.

its the AFLs worst fear. clubs like GWS, GC, Sydney being rendered obsolete over night.

Don't we have the easy run home with a heap at Marvel? If we can halve them early we get to sail home.
Yep, 8/10 at MRVL to finish the season

Which is why if we can capitalise on these injury-ridden teams (Pies, GWS) early in the season when we theoretically probably should be starting slow, we could be in a great position to attack finals

Brisbane and Adelaide are the only really tough ones early on from memory. Both are gettable if we have improved and they aren't fully engaged yet. If we can get a fast start we can pad ourselves out against quiet patches and injury.
