Mead is in the extended squad. There are eight players including Mead listed as interchange so some players have to come out and he may yet be an emergency. Lai, Brodie and Lukosius are among those listed on the interchange so hopefully Brodie is picked instead of Mead.

It looks like they are going with Jordan Sweet in the ruck and the published side has Bergmann in defence which is a plus.

Yeah, Lachie is lucky to string more than half a dozen games together. I took a quick look at his playing record and the best run I can find is two runs of 8 consecutive games in 2024. He played the first 8 straight then the last 8 including finals.

Lachie has two problems, firstly he does have sure hands and fumbles too much, the second is injuries which is possibly beyond his control. That is a pity because he does have footy ability.

It was via mobile ticketing, where you could transfer the tickets to someone else there was also a button to sell or return seats which doesn’t work this year for some reason
