Spreadsheet bit updated (see bottom of sticky post).

Also, added a feature or two to the spreadsheet - including fixture/results. So it's a bit more than just injury tracking now.

A game isn't complete without Zaccy going off with a life threatening injury..

This is the thing. You can't take any player into a game who can't be trusted to hold up body wise. He's a good player but he goes down literally during every game. It limits rotations and exposes us even more in 2nd halves.

But genuinely haven't seen us have such a small injury list in ages. It's both pleasing and concerning we still can't get the job done.

Concussion

Yeah, I know. I just meant that he looked like he might have also done some damage to his shoulder (and it's the one he broke in his underage year).

Really hoping the club hasn't swept a shoulder injury under the carpet under the guise of concussion ruling.

I'm being a bit paranoid. Just hope his shoulder is OK.

His shoulder wasn’t an issue from that collision. It was his hip/lower back

Thought it was more landing on his back / winding at the time.
Push from the MFC player of LY destabilised the contest and flipped.
Unsure why he was in hospital to begin with, which may have been the shoulder complaint or an internal check (?)
Can come back via the Reserves now.

We can't even keep clean facilities.. shows how well we're going at the moment.

Jokes aside.. that does seem like a high number of staph infections across that time. Quite common in sporting areas where there's lots of skin contact, shared facilities, cuts etc. but surely we can better in this space. Footy is hard enough with ACLs, strains, broken bones, corkies than to compound that with something mostly avoidable with clean practices like a staph infection.
