Brought this over here... we sure do have a plethora of talent coming through soon:

2026: Cody Walker, Riley Scotland

2027: Mitchell Rice (Dean Rice's son, also eligible for the Saints), Kai Bunyard (NGA), Archie Coady (NGA)

2028: Will Thornton, Lukas Koutoufides, Darcy Johnston (Wayne Johnston's son)

2029: Oscar Judd, Tyler Scotland, Arli Walker

2030: Lewis Betts, Nason Lovett-Murray (Jeff Garlett's son)

The ones that have made the most noise are Cody, Arli, Lukas and Nason.

Oscar Judd might decide to play cricket.

Is Riley Scotland playing Coates league anywhere? If not where’s he playing

Mate my Brother was in the same primary school class with one of Wayne's sons about 35 years ago... the fact he's got one that's 16 now is absolutely frying my brain lol
I don’t see the issue.
I was 26, so not super young when my first was born in ‘77. My 9yo was born in 2016. The age spread for a father is very feasible.(slightly different story if we were discussing mothers)

The Dominator’s boy is attached to a Qld Academy too, so might need a big sell.

Will be impossible to get them all if they are any good with the AFL rule changes. One a year may even be tough.

Sell next year's 1st rounder for Essendon's 2028 first.
We've got 4 trade periods to figure that out. Way too early to call given he's not playing U18s.

I don’t see the issue.

In fact if a woman freezes her eggs in her late 20s or early 30s, there's very little difference at all... likewise fertility and risk of complications improve for men if you freeze sperm.

The rest is mostly just taking care of yourself, and that's true of both parties leading into the pregnancy or storage. Sad that it took this long for the medical establishment to really step forward and say that.

That looks familiar. Dramoth

Three; and I was being theoretical.
I'm counting the in-draft periods as well, so 5 or 6 then I guess depending on how far he climbs. Lots of water under the bridge.

I won't count the three mid-season trade periods as well as I assume each trade needs to involve a mid-season draft pick.

I get ya, but I always find the in-draft period for trading picks a bit tricky for something that specific, so much can go wrong.

Well it's a good time to gather up future picks.

16 this year or last year? I don't think Kouta junior turns 16 for another three or four months.

Born on July 16, 2010. So if my math is correct, then he turns 16 on July 16 this year.

Cody Walker gets marked much more harshly than most other prospects due to his lofty status as one of the two clear front runners to be pick 1. He had another huge game here but there was some bad among the good. As usual his power and athleticism were brutally effective in contests and stoppage, with a handful of his clearance takeaways leaving opponents in the dust. His kicking was better than it often is and Cody even laced out his teammates with F50 entries on a few occasions. His handball let him down a bit too often today however, both in decision making and execution, leading to a number of scrappy and broken sequences of play.

How I feel seeing Cody have huge game after huge game then remembering about the draft changes that are coming...

2029 is shaping to be an expensive year... genuinely not sure how it gets done with the proposed changes coming up tbh.

Why? Oscar is more into cricket than AFL, and not even sure he'd want to join us... apparently a big Eagles fan. Not even sure if he's 1st round quality either tbh... haven't heard/seen much about his ability.

Haven't heard much buzz about Tyler Scotland either.

Arli otoh... sounds pick #1 material...

2028 might be expensive, both Thornton and Lukas are highly rated. Haven't heard much about dominator's kid though.
