The people saying that his actions can't have been from a panic attack or from whatever specific psychiatric issue they decide are just full of it to be completely honest.

There are some incredibly unusual issues that people have that aren't common but they still exist. At a previous workplace there was a patient who when they had an "episode" no-one would know as they seemed their usual "normal" self until the smell hit you and you realised that they had soiled their pants. Their episodes literally compelled them to leave their house and go to a very public place and soil themself then watch the reactions it garnered. They apparently had no control over it while they were occurring and otherwise they lived a very quiet but "normal" life.

Unless you are Elijah's treating Doctor, everyone is just guessing what happened.

Rightly or wrongly, when Wright told media yesterday that they were aware that Elijah was struggling, I assumed he meant “to get a kick”.

If not, that was one hell of an admission.

Clinicians are employed by each football club.

Most clubs have relationships with certain hospitals.

My default position until proven otherwise is that this is currently the mother of all PR exercises by Carlton and the AFL.

He probably has been admitted to hospital. It’s probably best for him. Still doesn’t rule out the fact it might have been a strategy concocted at AFL HQ to buy them more time.

What we should focused on now is not EH..because regardless of what caused this behaviour…the question is how in the hell did the Carlton coaches not do anything during the game?

Edwards for us got sent off by the umpire vs Gold Coast because the umpire deemed he should do a concussion test. Which was ridiculous but nevertheless..concern was in the mind of the umpire.

What friggin concern did Voss..clear view on the bench ..and the coaches box have for him?

It’s baffling…and disappointing they missed it and let him run around like a deranged lunatic.

How does this "shut the whole thing down"? Elijah being admitted to hospital helps nobody

Seriously, get his face out of the news.
Sure cover Carlton’s role and the investigation, but use anonymising language in reference to Hollands and stop playing the footage of him on a loop all day and night. This isn’t a regular scandal, it’s the life of a 23 year old kid.
