Doesn’t really tell the story. Where is Liam Ryan kicking them from? How many set shots?

Compare to Owens, who tends to miss from directly in front on a set shot.

Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Ryan is missing the easy ones, too.

I don't have comprehensive stats but the eye test to me says that they're both pretty poor at converting simple set shots but Ryan kicks some miracle goals from the boundary while Mitchito is very good at converting under immense pressure in general play. Which is in-line with their respective careers to date

I'm sure Owens has kicked some out on the full as well. All I ask is if you had the GF on the line and you had a choice between Flyin or Owens to take the 40m direct in front shot at goal. Who are you picking?

Ideally I'd like for them to chip it to Sharman/Hall or give the hands to Nas. 40m out directly in front I'd give both Ryan and Mitch about 40% chance of kicking it. No doubt Ryan has skills to do amazing things but historically he's been a pretty unreliable kick for goal.

Sounds like Owens needs a coach to fix his kicking- just like a pro golfer, tennis player etc uses a coach to sort out issues in their game.

Buckets & Rooey had their issues with their kicking technique.
Got it fixed up.

Mitchito going at 52.4% and Ryan at 47.1%. Sharman and Hall most accurate from our regular goal scorers

A number of facts indicate to me that we will smash West Coast and potentially kick a cricket score:

1) King sounds like he will be back. It will get the boys fired up;
2) we will remember the embarrassment of losing to them last year, and we will want revenge;
3) it is our home turf and we have the healthiest list we have had in years (knock wood); and
4) I think they are pissed off from the loss last week.
