Can confirm Ararats coach has been stood down pending investigation to a serious assault.
Not a great look for the footy club trying to keep it hush hush. Apparently injured him self the last week in the lead up to the Dimboola game and was going to miss the next 5-6 weeks …. Not sure to read into that

Season over for a pub blue?!

Probably won’t coach Ararat again, but they aren’t gonna let him go. Hes probably playing for a pie and a can of coke and they weren’t looking like winning a flag for 40 years until he came home.

I wouldn’t expect anything further from Ararat now they’ve stood him down as coach. It’s a personal matter, nothing to do with the club now he doesn’t hold leadership.

People are carrying on like theyve seen him off, when reality is him as a coach is the least of their worries. He'll still play, and he'll still be as good as always.

Im not even sure they'll stand him down permanently, if at all.

yer fair call, i neva enjoyed english nd found it rilly hard! was pritty happy to leave school early and work on the farm. ill try harder to make less misteaks sorry.

From what I’ve seen Owen summers is absolutely taking the piss this year! Locked down Mills Good Friday and Jorgensen against warack. I’d probably pencil him in for a toohey now.

Jorgenson kicked 4 and was BOG, Mills dominated him in the 2nd half.

Know he’s wife is from up there but he’s older brother Tom is coaching Ararat Eagles.

Jack Taurau is out for the first the first 3 weeks as warrack didn’t have a jersey big enough for him
