Thought Paps had a brilliant night. Energetic roving at ground level and pressuring well off the ball. Moving really well, been under the radar the last few weeks.

Hope we persist with Edwards, his big frame really stood out. Left his man at times to impact well too. Granted it was against depth key forwards but great to see him get the opportunity nonetheless and should give him confidence.

It was ugly at times with our skill errors but was impressed with our will and hunt to win the ball back, a pretty disciplined performance I'd say. TMac again continues to be that brick wall.

I thought Chad was fine tonight, his end product wasn’t there in the first half but it was probably his best game of the year in terms of tackling and defensive effort.

It’s also by design for him to do most of his work late, I’ve noticed this year he only plays high 60s/low 70s TOG in the first half but will finish the game in the high 70s. Seems like a tactical move to get more out of his running ability when the opposition is tired.

It's tactical for him to not go into the contest like usual?

I mean afl site had him in the bests so you are probably right, I think he's good but just not getting above that like he normally can.
