For those wondering who TMH is, that is Harry Van Hattum who is currently seen as the likely first available pick after Cochrane and Walker bids.

Cody Templeton is flying under the radar a little on the back of a consistent start to the season without having the kind of wow performance that makes people sit up and take notice. This was another solid effort from him, splitting his time between midfield and the forward line and impacting in both roles. He's had a slight query around his disposal efficiency in the past, but he was bang on here hitting precision kicks and setting up teammates in forward 50. The highlight of his day came early with a running, bouncing goal from a center square break, one of two majors for Cody on the day.

So we won't get an end of R1 pick for our R1 moving back but a pick after our R2.

Amongst the other changes set to be confirmed on Wednesday is the addition of compensation picks for clubs who have a top-five pick shunted down the draft order by a matched bid.

As AFL.com.au revealed last month, the move will see clubs who have a prized top-five pick moved back awarded an extra pick, which will follow their selection at the start of the second round of the draft.

That's better. We get back to back picks before 17th gets one.

Nice. Means we'll most likely have picks 1, 18 & 19 this year.

Will the afl gift us another back end 1st rounder that we have to trade?
Didn’t north and west coast get that?
Norf got millions of them and traded for potatoes.

WC didnt have to trade it from memory

Snell was quiet early but increasingly grew into the game to become a dominant aerial force across the Gippsland defensive line, especially impactful in the fourth quarter when the Rebels were trying to mount a comeback and kicking with a strong wind advantage. He took plenty of intercept marks and was disruptive when he couldnt mark it himself with a big spoiling fist. He found plenty of the footy on the rebound out of D50, showcasing his strong and penetrating kicking skills.

LOL Riley Beveridge the Carlton nuffie absolutely spitting the dummy about the new draft system about 7 minutes into Gettable. Worth a watch for a laugh.

Social media is a laugh right now. :tearsofjoy:

Even James Hird cracked it last night, forgot to take his Essendon cap off because of Bewick next year.
