Will go unoticed but Mileras ability to stand up in a tackle is probably the best i've seen at our club.
Curtin was really rusty in the first half but he had a couple of beautiful goal assist handballs in the second half. One Keays and that last handball to Cook.

Great to see him back. Will be better for the run.

1 month ago, would you have supported beating Port by 1 point in the last 10 secs after being crap all game and then giving up a 20 point lead? Be honest. What does that win do for our chances of being decent?
Yes. Beating Port with 10 secs to go after having had 3 goals taken off us by umpires? Give that good shit to me.

If you weren’t on your feet excited when Cook kicked that goal to beat our most hated rival then maybe supporting a footy club ain’t your thing.

You feel uncomfortable with two attractive men getting it on?
Nicks looks like a thumb but no, that's not what I meant. It's more like Rachele is a race horse and Nicks is spooking him. You could tell Josh wanted to get away.

Bovo, I couldn't agree more. I am elated :grinv1: :hearteyes::hearteyes:.

(I wear a fitbit --- my resting hb is 62-64 when I'm sitting in my recliner.
When Cook kicked that goal it was 92, then it might've stopped and I don't gaf)

<<CLEAR!!>>

Mine happened to peak at 119.

The win doesn't make us good suddenly, but winning is better than losing.

And Port were horrendous for most of the match. You need to beat sides that are really bad.

There were decisions tonight that could’ve (and probably should’ve) cost the club the game and the club needs to pursue them with the AFL. Much easier after a win than a loss.

Everyone has had enough of this shit. That overturning of the Soligo goal was the most idiotic thing I’ve ever seen in professional sport.

Heads need to ****ing roll and the club needs to act.
As a physicist, I can tell you that the score reviewer was absolutely lying by saying we can see that the ball is going over the post. Hasn't he heard of parallax error? Even the Port commentators knew this!
The correct decision should have been insufficient evidence to overturn the goal ump's decision.

It is definitely worth complaining about this and making a big media fuss, as this has not been the only match in which this has occurred and it is demonstrably wrong.

He deserved the medal with his stats but Christ I have never seen someone fumble the ball like he did tonight.
I thought same (and that the medal would go to Aliir, but I didn't know at the time Berry had 19 ****en tackles).
I noticed those fumbles, too.
If he steps up and gets clean-hands syndrome (no pun intended cleanhands :sneaky: ) he'll be a real star.

That was shit. Celebrate that and you celebrate being shit.

We are so far off being a contender it ain’t funny
Look, you're right that we're a long way off and it was a low quality game for the most part.

But it's Port, we always want to beat them no matter the situation, and to win with the last kick of the game makes it all the more sweeter.

Spot on.

The weird thing is thinking back I was not worried that Cook would miss.

He has become an elite kick that you just trust
I think he has always been an elite kick but the difference now is he has learnt how to find more of the footy.

You’re telling me the guy in the arc isn’t a physicist?

We won

despite Nicks trying to save a lead
despite Alir mopping up down back
despite umpire incompetence
despite our captain not playing due to tragedy
despite our spiritual leader injured early.

It was a horrible game. But a charachter building one.

Last week, I said Toby Murray wasn't going to make it due to lack of skills and smarts.

He showed tonight there is something there after all. Still needs to fill out as he gets out bodied too easily, but he presented well and was the only one who could hold a mark in the first half. Popped up well at the end of the third too.

Ugly : umpiring. Normally don’t care too much but bond htb q1 baffling. The goal review and the rachele push are just the ones that spring to mind. Honestly one of the worst umpiring displays I’ve ever seen. Don’t buy they are cheats but by God I could be convinced. Edit: forgot the farcical Rankine running too far oh and the free to butters for running himself into the fence 😂
I actually think it's harder to believe there wasn't a level of cheating/corruption tonight than to believe that by chance they were that bad.
