VDM will get another go at senior level when he returns from injury, even though he breaks down. He was looking great. And could be seen as the 23rd man. But if the rotations increase, I can’t see how we would risk it unless he can string a big patch of games together which he has been unable to do.
He actually played the whole season in 2024 with 24 games and a huge chunk of 2025 with 19 games. So he can strings together games. He's had an Achilles soreness in the preseason a concussion in the vfl then a hamstring this season.

On Treloar.

“His high-intensity running side of his game, which has always been a great strength of his, is just compromised at the moment,” Beveridge said. “So he’s working out whether he can get to that point where it’s really going to challenge opposition midfields at AFL level.”

The club clearly thought he running abiltiy against the Swans wasn't up to scratch, which is certainly wasn't. I'd be very surprised to see him again at AFL level.

That sounds like he is considering whether to retire or not.

Bevo's presser last week gave the same subtle reference. It's like Treloar will make up his mind a week before the mid season rookie draft.

Yeah that has cross my mind. I do wonder whether discussions have taken place.

Imagine being the only team this year to lose a second half to Carlton….
We SHOULD be going into the Carlton game with close to full strength again (barring more injuries). Libba, JOD, Lobb, Budda should all be back in the squad if things go to plan over the next 2 weeks.

Libba won’t be back in 2 weeks I say
