On one hand, yeah, but on the other, we really should have achieved more with the talent we had at our disposal.

Could argue that five of the top 10 players in the comp currently all played for the Dees at some point (Gawn, Kozzy, Trac, Jackson and Grundy, though can't really claim the last one). Oliver isn't on that level, but has been better at GWS than he was in his last three seasons at Melbourne. Also has a Coleman Medallist next to him who's an ex-Dee lol.

Yep. That pick and a couple of others (along with Trac) helped us get Taylor, Latrelle, Matthews (I think), GC's first rounder this year, I think possibly Steele too (not sure if that was our pick or GC's).

Well we were always going to get two first rounders for him, issue was the Dockers doing so well in 2022. Even if they'd finished bottom 5 that year we'd have still managed to get their 2022/2023 firsts. At least they bottomed out in 2023 or we'd have been really ****ed by it.

First half is completely succinct in what it is to be a figure in an insurance company, because they train every skerrick of empathy out of being a representitive.

This isn't me disgreeing but North are well ahead of the Eagles atm plus were playing at home, and the Blues were absolute pox last night for most of the game, came back with a wet sail when the Lions knew they were pretty much in no danger of losing the game and could tighten ship if absolute required ie as soon as the Blues kicked that first goal of the fourth and then didn't kick another for 20 minutes. Also as bad as Carlton are they're also ahead of West Coast, 30 point percentage differential shows that.

Just have to not get jumped by the Eagles mids early and play out four quarters and we'll be okay.

I wasn't able to focus much on the second half, but felt like North had an almost game. They've got some good young players but just couldn't go with Sydney the entire match. A few lapses cost them in the end. They're a bit like us in 2017 a few lapses here in there costing games/percentage.
