I don’t think our first half was that good either

Probably not but it was good enough to get a good lead against a crappy team. Definitely slacked off after that.

Honestly though its bank the points. Point out that half the team slacked off and never think about this game again

Froggy deserved it because he was the big reason we had such a dominant lead playing a lone hand with Harris looking to be dragging a leg.

It is frustrating that this team feels like it has to learn again and again to put in the effort required to win.

It’s frustrating that after a decade and a half at the bottom of the ladder, there’s a generation of fans who spew their entitlement and expectation all over place…when I hear other teams talk about the arrogance of Brisbane fans, I’m initially confused and then I see tripe like this and realise where it comes from

It’s a privilege to support a team as good as this…three GFs, b2b premierships…injured key forwards and defenders everywhere and you come in here and complain that we didn’t win by enough?

I’m not saying that was a good second half but shiz happens and we got away with one

Wipe your tears, be grateful for the win and look forward to next week

Last quarter.
Rayner had a single handball in the last 30 seconds. Lazy footballer. He doesn’t want it hard enough. Fletcher was shocking. Look at the highlights packages and watch him jogging behind Carlton players who are either kicking goals or setting up goals. On the other hand, hard grafters like Reville, Fort and Lester are the players who were most impressive. Neale was brilliant. Levi Ashcroft was great too.

My votes were Lester, Neale, Fort, L. Ashcroft, Reville.

Can’t wait to see Berry and Gallop back in the side.

Fortunately Carlton only has a half of good footy in them. This week it was the second half. Maybe they didn’t blow themselves up in the first.

Having to defend in the second half is probably not a bad thing. Not unlike the wake-up against Melbourne, but we got the points this time.

I wonder if Harris was still carrying his corkie from last week. He was well down on usual output.

I think Curtin is probably out next week. He’ll get opened up by Geelong. Only question is if Ty goes forward, or stays back and a new plan for next week.

Levi was good tonight (in addition to those already mentioned). A shame he missed the second shot at goal.

Carlton had 20 marks inside forward 50 which is a blight on our team defence which continues to be our biggest issue

Won 6 of our last 7 so can't complain about our winning form

Looks like we got through the game without an injury so that a big plus.

Mid field has to lift the help out under powered/performing back line. Especially with harris unable to jump.
