I think its best to leave the young fella alone.

He is pretty public on social media with his struggles, but the simple fact he is prepared to do that is a healthy and positive thing.

Let's let him work through his stuff.

I think he plays at Rochy with his brothers because it is a safe space for him.
Gets to come home and see family every week and sleep in his childhood bed. If he gets a kick or not, play's inside or outside is irrelevant. Rochy have committed to him, and he has committed to Rochy isn't that what community sport is all about?

Talking about the demise of country football, has anyone stopped and considered what it would look like without the netball crew every week. Seriously, netball saves football.
The unique football and netball combination is a big reason why community sport works so well in regional Victoria.

Nash Ramage has walked out of Rochy. Young 6 foot 4 ruckman on a VFL list being played in the reserves!! Massive own goal by the tigers.

I can see both sides, the young fella has huge potential but hasn’t been damaging after the centre bounce

Ideally just needed a good mentor, kicked 9 last week but obviously decisions had already been made, happiness is key at the end of the day

Speaking of, what’s the situation with Ky’s netball? Are they fielding all senior grades?

Not sure . When are all of your predicted forfeits going to start happening in GVL
Don’t believe I predicted any forfeits. Merely collated what others on this forum had said about the status of some clubs and their numbers.

Hes still listed at rochy on playhq. Its interesting rochy dropped him v tat and euroa in the ones. Id think they would be games he'd get confidence in and potentially play well in. Young guys that size, dont grow on trees

RD 7
United v Tat - Tat put up a reasonable fight against Benalla last week but United will be too strong for their 3rd win and keep within distance of the top 6. Unsure how many games Horner will play for United, but they will need him more if they want to make finals
Shepp by 10 goals over Benalla, but Benalla will put in a good scrap early but Shepp will kick away.
Mooroopna should beat Euroa and like United keep within distance of the top 6. Increase in % would be handy if they can win easily.
Rochester v Swans - This will be interesting - By form Swans should win and got over the line against Seymour last week by breaking the game up early with goals on the board. Rochy were in a bit of struggle and were down at half time against Euroa. Rochy need to win this is an understatement and if they lose will be sitting 10th.
Seymour v Echuca - Echuca struggle against United in the first half last week, they should win but for memory Seymour has had some great wins against Echuca and would be keen to get the upset.
KY v Mansfield - game of the week. Last year Mansfield won by a point in Rd 16, but this was in Mansfield, then in the Semi Final Ky won easily. Ky wasn't great when tested by Shepp last week, so need this win to put some confidence back in. Mansfield win away from home would put a statement to Echuca and Shepp as a contender.

Malik Gordon is a reasonable size and the Betson boys from Mooroopna are a good size if I recall. Or at least one is.
Seems Shepp aren't interested in interleague this year with only 3 nominations, with United and Benalla with 6 nominations but unsure who will make the final cut.

Forfeit watch - 0 so far

However,
Under 18s - Last week United had only 14, I presume Echuca may have lended them some. Now United used to heaps of kids so unsure what's happen there and I think some backed up for the 2s game.
Euroa 18s had just the 18

Reserves - seem all good with numbers for last week and I'm sure clubs are doing their best to attract people to play especially when injuries/unavailability starts to happen especially when June and July hit.
