It's 41 years since one of Celtic or Rangers didn't win the title. The chance of Hearts winning it was the only thing that made the SPL interesting.
Pretty much. It's an irrelevant competition until something changes. Similar to the Portuguese league.

German league ? Spanish league ? French league ? Etc etc etc.
Don't see 56 wins to real and 55 to Barca and until PSG got Qatar money Ligue 1 was fantastically even. Even the bundesliga has more upsets.

Name another league that has had two different teams only win the last 40 titles

The worst farmers league among the farmers leagues.
Two clubs with cash and the rest are skint and win **** all.

And the plastics in here enjoy it like it is worth celebrating.
Glory hunters.

Greatest cat of all time
Okay. Still was a public citizen and I was 11 when he did that.
No different to Nick Stevens, Justin Murphy etc etc.

Still actively follow and support a team that protected a rapist because it may win a title the last 3 seasons. Points over morals at The Arsenal. Better not be applauding Mikel in a couple games time. And yet have the gaul to rightly take issue with Man City's impropriety. Pick a lane.
Keep going yid
Sick reply dude...
you’re making this sweeter.

Something, something... Some shit gif of a cherry or geordie cos we lost to them at some point.
What a sad existence for someone who's presumably in his 50s at least.

Is he calling folk 'plastic' because you have to be born within 20 miles of the stadium to support a team?

Hearts have been the most efficient team for most of the season, so kudos to them on that. Delighted for O'Neill, the mans a living legend. Now start putting in place some sort of system to recruit players, Desmond.

'Plastics' coming from this bloke:
We'll never be top dog in England. Sooner you accept it and enjoy life knowing we aren't going to win things, ambition or otherwise the easier life becomes.
Can't bear to watch his own team anymore but is never afraid to throw pot-shots at others on here every week.

Can't bear to watch his own team anymore
Nonsense.
I've been posting on this board since the AVB days and followed for years before that. Being a bad team is simply not the reason.

I have the same issue with EPL that windy does, clubs that cheat. When they're sanctioned that will change and I'll watch again. What a fun league, watching City cheat their way to a dozen or more trophies in the last decade.

And it should be noted, I have praised Liverpool and Arsenal for the manner in recent seasons with which they've compiled and competed for honours with a club that is financially juiced. That is not a league that's overly enjoyable to watch.

And such praise should not preclude calling out said club for its behaviour Eg. Partey.

Seems easily riled up by folk on the internet - who are not even trying to rile him up. Oh, well.
Congratulations Celtic on winning the game and title race

You were too good for us today
I would say that Hearts throwing the league away is a sign of a good team, in a roundabout way. Just a question of if McInnes stays and they add some good players to replace the out going. Be hard to qualify for, but at least there is a CLQ to play. And Bloom obviously knows what he's doing.

You’re really struggling here. It’s sad/amusing when you go off on one of your rants.
All I’ve said about Arteta is that if he fails to deliver the title this season he will be in serious trouble in regards to keeping his job. Is that a fair comment ? But you’re saying I can’t be happy for him if he does deliver !! How dare I !?!? You are grasping at straws on that one.
You label me a plastic. You don’t know me personally. I’m a member of The Jock Stein Australian Celtic Supporters Club of Australia’. Have followed Celtic for as long as I’ve followed Arsenal and bloody Essendon.
Some of the greatest, funniest nights of my life where had at The Angel Tavern in Malvern and other pubs in and around Melbourne but mainly The Angel, where Celtic fans caught up. ( not just The OF derby!!)
These catch ups have diluted a little over the years due to Foxtel/BEIN sports but those Bhoys still go off.
You damn Arsenal with faint praise, which is extremely unusual for you. It’s clearly a defensive coping mechanism IF The Gooners do clinch the title.
I will concur with your point regarding 115 F.C. We did find some common ground on that one.
So ive posted a few gifs regarding spurs. On The ARSENAL page. God forbid !!!! And you haven’t!?!? A touch hypocritical wouldn’t you think ??
You seem to enjoy picking arguments all over this site, one or two have been amusing but it is constant, you’ve been given a few bans over the years I seem to recall. But it does make me think “ is this what Gero/Artie is like in real life ? How the **** could he bothered with the constant arguing, one upmanship “ ?? What is going on in his life ??
Remember a few years ago I offfered to catch up with you at an Ess/Geel game, even said I could organise a ticket for you as I know you don’t go every week ?
It was a peace offering. The same peace I try and show in the premier league match day thread’s. That being me not posting in them because they were becoming ****ing toxic.
Answer ? Remove myself from them. Stay in The Arse thread and discuss Artetas future, post the odd one or two (or three) gifs about tott. Again, how dare I !!!.

Non champions route for champions league qualification would just about be impossible for them. 3 qualifiers and the last round they would need to beat a good side (Benfica, Club Brugge, Feyenoord, Fenerbahce, Nice were the teams in the third round this year). Best case scenario for them would be winning the first round of qualifying (Rangers beat Panathinakos this year) and drop into the Europa league phase if you lose the next one.

If they do make group stage of Europe I think they will struggle next year. Celtic and Rangers played over 15 games more than them this year and they will need a few transfer windows before they can build a squad to handle the midweek games.

If I was them I would be sacking McInnes tomorrow and hiring Askou. The current Celtic team is very ordinary and if you tried to play some football instead of just falling over to get free kicks and score from set pieces they are gettable.

The two sided nature isn't what has made Scottish football shit. It's the fact the two sides are nowhere near the levels they used to be at, and they still manage to win and be in title hunts. Atmosphere and passion will never waiver. But going from having the likes of Larsson, Nakamura, Flo, Gazza, Van Bronkhorst to Maeda and Todd Cantwell shows how far its fallen

Fair call.

Bit of news going around that the game could a 3-0 forfeit due to crowd behavior

Would be a ballsy call for the officials to make. Precedent in Prague recently. Doubt they will
