Good win. Slightly frustrating because it felt like we could’ve won by 60+, but it’s hard to be too disappointed when so much of the young core played well.

Carroll has proven a lot of people wrong (myself included). He brings a really nice balance of defence and attack. Garcia keeps improving every week, looks like he could develop into a top 10-20 player in the comp and complements NAS really well.

Hall needs to be a full-time midfielder now; he’s too good to be stuck forward. I see Pou more as a forward who can rotate through the midfield. I’m not fully convinced he’ll make it as a pure midfielder, but I think he can become a very damaging forward.

Still not convinced on LOC. I’d prefer Wood in that spot.

Frustrating that we didn’t make the most of our good work. However stress free win and some good individual performances to players we needed too.

Seems like a pretty professional win, however our goal sense and connection inside 50 need to lift for a pinch one in the next three.

We underestimate the toll the Darwin trip would have taken.

Solid enough with a few individuals continuing the upward trajectory which is nice.

If we can’t get a key forward that we feel is worth developing than I think a bigger key defender is next on the shopping list. Howard isn’t the medium term solution and only the short term solution by default. Hammer yet to prove he is a the long term solution.

Once again can’t complain about winning. Overall though pretty ordinary.

Great to see Hugo continue his upward trajectory. Hall also. I thought their work with TDK at stoppages and clearances best so far this year.

JSOS is just about recruit of the year. Howard had one he’d probably prefer to forget.

Pou started well, probably his best half for the year but that was where it ended.

Higgins looked like he was 70%, similar Hill and Sinclair.

Will need to up a gear to be competitive with Freo.

I have had a lot of praise over Hugo Garcia over the last few weeks and he has become an AFL player.

Bloke is turning into a gun
The Garcia Hall combo is turning into a genuine weapon. They’re becoming an overnight success almost haha , but combined with naz and tdk , we’ve finally got a weapon midfield. We couldn’t say that over the last 10 years.

Enjoy the victory, though we played a pretty inefficient game today. Richmond are so bad, yet we made them look reasonable. Too many players still not playing to their best, some system issues still not being corrected- especially defensively, and this will mean we don't beat many those above us.

I'm telling you... as the likes of Garcia, Hall and Nas get time to gel with TDK, we can have a potent midfield.

Big Tom did some good things through sheer will. Went harder at it and the ball fell our way because of it.

Hugo's my dude.

I agree we managed things considering last week.

A few still need to look to hit up a teammate.

Flanders looked better in the second half to me but still doesn't exite me. So far, he's not what I thought we were getting.

Higgins needs to stop calling for the ball and we need to stop trying to hit him up when he is stationary and manned up.
Carroll excellent
I liked Windy's game reminded me of Goddard in the contested situations.
Marshall's stats are good but wasn't rapt in his performance

Got through without any added injuries so mostly positive.

Seems they have settled on Windhager being the defensive midfielder. Think it's the right spot for him. Hall, Nas and Garcia look like being an absolutely potent and powerful midfield mix. Can't all be offensive at the stoppage. Windhager in there as the defensive stoppage player makes a lot of sense.

Frustrating we couldn't put them away, but never in doubt despite seemingly going at half rat power.

The Hugo, Hall and Nas midfield is a delicious prospect. Throw in Windy, Wilson and Pou, something to look forward to.

Still too many poor inside 50s. Even on some fast break plays we ended up with shots from the pockets. A good test coming next week.

For all the high draft picks and elite mids we have been looking for. To find the in hall and Garcia, a mid season draft pick and pick 50. Has been something special. That media a saying north might have the best midfield in a couple of years. If we can hang onto Wilson and nas I reckon it will be us

Anyone still questioning why we got TdK must not have watched this game.
Roma has always been better around the ground than as a ruckman, even though he always gave it his all.

He was terrible at the bounce today. But the synergy developing between TDK, Hally and Garcia is great to see. Added to that, the marks he is taking around the ground and two goals and I see a promising future for him in the team.

Roma’s boundary goal was phenomenal.

SOS another very good game.
Solid debut for Charlie, capped off with a goal.

Chequebook out for Wilson please.

Garcia the new Robert Harvey.
Henry doesn't bring much at all. Bit of a Figjam who isn't performing. LOC tough and quick , Caroll earning his money now. Overall and everyone is saying it it's the Forward line that's holding us back.
Yet we are regularly hitting 100+

And to think 12 months ago Garcia copped a massive spray and got subbed, got rising star nomination vs freo and has not looked back ever since.

Thoroughly well-managed win I thought. Always in control and didn’t over-exert ourselves doing it. Yes, some disjointed stuff in there but you couldn’t ask for a better way for it to pan out ahead of Freo away next week.

TDK Naz Garcia Hall could be the lightning in a bottle we’ve been craving for 15 years

...Jack Macrae sneakily got to work in that last quarter. Ended up with 31 disposals, 7 tackles and 5 clearances for 61% TOG. I swear he was on about 19 or 20 disposals up to 3/4 time.
Macrae is incredible like that. SIA! Silent, invisible, accumulator ( that acronym sucks, but ..yeah..l)
